I bought one secondhand in the mid nineties, because I was skint and it was the only chorus I could afford. (I think it cost about £30). Pretty much everyone else I knew had multi-effects units. I've hung onto the pedal for nearly 30 years, and it's amazing to think that it's now cool.
The magical setting for me is rate 40% and depth 60%
Good review of this one. I still have mine that I bought in the late 80s. It’s the only chorus pedal I’ve ever used btw.

Love these pedals! I've had several CE2s. Also have the DM2 and the BF2. Some of the best pedals ever made came out in the early 80's.

Hi, Can you add in description chain order between ce-2, compression & delay ?
Compression is always first and delay last chorus goes between.
I also recommend trying switching the positions of the delay and chorus pedals. While most players I've come across prefer the delay last there are a few of us who prefer the chorus after the delay.
Try it both ways and see which you prefer.
Is this a MIJ chorus??
Cool video and great pedal. Great player you are too. Just as a side note, not really important, but did you notice there is an E note sounding in the background through the video? Sounds like an open low E string. I thought it was the guitar but it keeps on sounding when you play, and it doesn't fade away.
P.S It's a little sharp from E. See 1:55
