I refuse to share, I’ve had a few requests similar to the one that you got. My way of thinking is that people have put time, skill and often spent money on high end gear to produce captures and sell them. Having said that I fell foul of one of the issues with the IOS Tonex. As you can’t import purchased captures into it the only way is to load it from your PC onto ToneNet, log on with IOS and then load it from ToneNet. Did this a few times with some captures that I had purchased and never thought others would also grab them. I realised when I logged in and got a few likes and downloads for some of the . So I had to rename them as something obscure and remove from ToneNet as soon as I’ve downloaded them. Not an issue since I got the pedal.

I have had nothing but terrible experiences with Kiesel. The trem thing happens if the strings are to loose during shipping. I have had a few that did that in shipping. The head piece is ridiculous, but Jeff will probably tell you it’s your fault.

Kiesel is an asshole and everyone in the industry feels that way. This is unacceptable quality coming out of the factory i would have sent that back immediately.

Anything over 1000 dollars i expect zero technical issues. Obviously as price go up you're going to get certain perks but the 4 digit mark is where i expect a fully functional instrument with zero issues and decent hardware. Kiesel have way too many issues to be worth the gamble.

Subscribed! Great tip. I picked up my pick just now and low and behold, I'm holding it wrong. Just enough of an angle to get the rotation. I've been doing all those things you mentioned for a long time to doctor up my pick to keep it from moving. Now I know. I will put your advice into action! Thanks!

This was very helpful and everything worked swimmingly but for some reason it stopped working. I get tone out of of hx stomp and tone out of tonex separately but if I run them together nothing comes out of the channels I have an fx loop on... they are both on midi channel 1. SUPER CONFUSED and a little lost

Been playing 47 years now, Kiesel are the best guitars I've ever played and I've owned all the greats.

i had a Custom shop Carvin when Kiesel took over... the quality was not in par to price, their customer service was shit. paint marks on the birds eye maple fretboard (under the final finishing lacquer), binding started to peel off and therefore the lacquer started to "bubble". their initial repair did not solve any of these... so i am not sure what they did but it took them quite a time to get the gutiar there and back... The pre-Kiesel Carvins were great though.

When sound goes into a mic it moves a piece of metal in a magnetic field as well though.... in both cases the signal is from moving metal. And moving wood moves metal (obviously if you bump your guitar it will ring without directly hitting the strings)... so what wood does is enhance of diminish different frequencies effecting how the strings moves. All that matters is how the metal moves in either case, but many factors effect how the metal moves.

Does an electric violin not use piezo pickups as opposed to electro magnetic? If that’s the case then of course the wood would make a difference. I gotta say though, I stumbled across Paul’s tonewood bullshit whilst shopping for a PRS. I’ve decided to boycott them and make another guitar.

Sorry you had issues, I've had nothing but great experiences with Kiesel. All my builds came out awesome with only two issues so far and they both got resolved quickly with great service.

Hearing a devoted customer go on and on (and on) about how hurt he is over abrupt, rude treatment is very sad. Most American businesses and services have minimized actual service to customers in order to increase profits, so it's hardly just Kiesel choosing to dismiss a customer with a complaint. In the world of guitars, particularly with relatively small makers who claim to offer individualized instruments, a dismissive approach to customers is very disappointing. The dual jack setup (Which I don't like; my Parker uses a single "smart jack" to deliver either a combined signal or two separate lines, could at least continue to be offered as an upcharge option for those customers who want it and have rigs configured to work with separate lines for piezos and magnetics. Disappointing a loyal customer who has been an advocate for your guitars, and then just throwing him away because he's understandably upset and angry says a lot. Whoever made that decision does not work in a vacuum, and it is discouraging that whoever made that move was not talked out of it by colleagues. Tampering with customer loyalty is ugly and short-sighted, IMO.

But people will insist he's better than he's ever been. Sadly, like so many acts when they get to this age, they've become their own tribute act.
