Thanks. You saved me money. Wanted this for harmonizing ambient swells. It may work for that, but I'd rather find a higher quality pedal, even if it costs more.
Hi Leon, I'm very curious about this pedal, but I saw other videos and none of them had that problem of latency... are you sure the pedal is not defective or something?? Cheers!!
@@socrateselguitarrista I can't see how latency would be created in a digital pedal by a defect. My impression is that it just isn't processing fast enough. You get what you pay for I guess and you don't pay much for this pedal!
Thanks for this, I wanted to get this to downtune, like drop D down to drop A, but it's just as bad as the Vivlex octaver I used to have and sold off as an octave reverb. I'd rather just string up with heavy strings, and tune down to drop A, and capo up to drop C or even drop D if I want to. Or just make my bed and lie in it, play everything in drop A. Or for just a little more money get the cheapest used basic guitar I can, and use that for the specific tuning.
For the money this pedal’s pretty great. Your ear adjusts for the latency. Considering it’s a musical ‘special effect,’ it’s a simple trade-off. If you want an acoustic or clean lower octave, you can use a baritone guitar or just pick up a bass, but soak this little blue bad boy in some Boss Metal Zone with a flanger and a reverb and you won’t even notice any latency. What I like best about this pedal is that it didn’t cost $900 (Eventide) and it doesn’t take a doctorate from MIT to use it (Boss HR-2). For only $42.50 this thing satisfies my craving for weird sounding stuff. I dig it 👍🏻
there are cheaper pedals than this with almost no latency... Mooer, Donner, etc. all make similar pedals that are extremely better. I have never heard someone say "your ears will adjust to latency" hahaha. just get a better pedal!
@@Bikewithlove Latency isn’t a usable guitar effect, regardless of if you put it through more shitty effects like a metal zone 😂 You will absolutely notice it just as much as without those extra pedals. I addressed you other point comparing it to the eventide by saying there are other pedals that actually do what they are supposed to for this same price, if not less. If you are into weird pedals, I guess it’s good for you, but running it into a metal zone and flanger is all I need to know about what kind of tone you probably prefer. Is Line 6 spider your amp of choice?
So: TLDR: It's bad Guess it's basically the same pedal as "VSN Guitar Harmonizer"? Looks the same on the outside, and we know many cheap pedals are just the same OEM circuit.
Its not good. In fact its worse than the tc brain waves. And thats nowhere near as good as the drop. Ive owned all 3, gave away the cheapy. And the TC(not cheap!) and got a digitech drop. I miss being able to go up. But i use a capo for that
Well, you might have actually found the worst pedal ever made! And $36 is not cheap considering some Joyo pedals that actually do work well are in that same price range basically. Talk about L.......................atency.
On the plus side, at least it gives you enough time to put the kettle on while you’re waiting for your notes to come through…..
Mate I could rear the cow to put the milk in my tea! 😂🤣

So glad I watched this video before buying one.
best unboxing ever.
Wow, I'm glad I found this vid and subscribed!
Cheers, saved me some money there. Yippa!

Use the Behringer US600, the tracking is quite fast
That is like the old fashion pitch shifting. But Mooer has a good one that is almost as good as the DigiTech Drop but a lot cheaper.
if you are talking about the pich box, it's not good.
The Donner Harmonic square is a goodun.
Great review 😅

I'm just here for the unboxing.
This can be use for vocal??
Does harmonizer applicable also for vocal second voice sir? Thank u
No. It's just a guitar pedal.
Would this be okay for the harmony part in peace of mind by boston?
If you want your harmonies out of time it's great.
@leonbrownmusic oh, no not really😂 is there anything else i can use?
It does have that barking duck sound though🤣
😂🤚 that was a great review of an awful pedal . Hope you’re well!

@@Bikewithlove Because I never wanted one? huh?
I am not a fan of donner pedals. I bought a compressor and it is very digital sounding and introduces hiss

It should be painted Brown and then pushed back in the Box! 😂
Think you got a duff one, every other review it's fine some rate and some say it's OK... none sounded like your one.. Try again!
It sounds rather odd. Not exactly organic and adds a lot of delay.
