Excellent job with available tools! You have talent. I’m an amateur restorer of small bikes in USA. your work is great for a utility restoration to put bike back in service looking refreshed. For a collector piece though, painting spokes, not rebuilding shocks, bearings, etc would not make a for a valuable end product. You could invest in an electroplating kit for about $300 usd so you could replate hardware, spokes, etc for a polished finished product.

I live in Vermont USA So I’m pretty sure there is a lot of Canadian build stuff more than there is Chinese knock off’s but then again who knows there probably is some Chinese made stuff where I live
stephen kroll True that something to always factor in is where to find the parts for them but I’m assuming that you can find the parts overseas but you’re going to pay quite a bit and shipping just to get the car over here to USA
Well technically They restored it because it has been repainted and all the rust was removed. Is in pretty rough shape in the beginning until they are done at the end
Should have put more oil in, always wanna make sure it’s full, and check the engine when your doing a restoration like this and replace seals and gaskets, you didn’t show it but maybe you did, other than that great job
And I catch myself bitching that I just have a 2 car garage to work in. This enterprising guy is working barefoot in the mud. What do I have to complain about?
