Thanks for this video! Another scenario is the termination due to sharing with one’s supervisor that there is a toxic environment or discovering fraudulent activity of a supervisor.

I left with the level and skills necessary for management. I was lied to, bullied and belittled. I have never seen anything like this in my life. It was the worst and the best day of my life. I resigned and wrote the abuse I had suffered. I decided to vote with my feet..

I’m giving notice tomorrow. I am HR. Our new COO has not started well and her behavior is concerning. We are not and would not be a fit. I’ll give space to make transition as smooth as I can. But definitely, it’s time to go.

Beautiful content Mrs. Clarke! Any advice on how someone could learn how to speak as eloquently as you do?

I’m still confused as to why we should give notice, but companies can walk you out the door without one…

Have you experienced or witnessed cases of illegal workplace discrimination, harassment, bullying, or retaliation? Have you ever experienced an abusive & corrupt employer? Have you ever experienced or witnessed workplace induced trauma & PTSD? How should one defend themselves? How should one hold their employer and/or colleagues accountable, or are you suggesting they shouldn’t? I don’t see how this advice helps employees in those kinds of situations.

You nailed it. These are excellent questions. Earlier this year 2024 I resigned from a workplace like you’ve described. People like to ask did you speak to your boss, their boss, HR, your union, etc. most would answer YES. However it’s like talking to soulless entities who are devoid of empathy or compassion. “Well what if we do more trainings for management/coworkers?” In my opinion you cannot train evil out of those who enjoy doing it and will NOT change. Therefore some employees feel like they have no other choice but to leave the vile environment. People hear but they do not LISTEN.
