Yeah it gets me every time when people refer to emotional intelligence as a soft skill mostly especially to downplay it's significance in work life

Thank you for this excellent guidance. As an African-American man who has worked primarily for women, I am often shocked at how emotional intelligence and mastery of the emotional self is very often the difference maker.
And to agree with you, anyone who has developed a high EQ knows that it is definitely not a "soft" skill.

      Hey there!
I totally agree that this is so timely. It's why I became an emotional intelligence coach for women who want to heal emotional wounds and cultivate deeper, more meaningful relationships.
I’m actually an emotional wellness coach based in Ohio researching the needs and challenges of people who are interested in growing in emotional intelligence. I saw your comment on this video and would love to schedule a call and have you answer a few questions if you're willing!
As a small thank you, I’d be more than happy to share any info you might find useful from my area of expertise.
Shoot me back a yes or thumbs-up, and I’ll leave a link to set up a 15-minute call.
      Best regards,
      Jordyn Imari

OMG! I need everyone to see & hear this!! Treat people the way they need to be treated! I am tired of these so-called empathic people who set themselves as standards of behavior! You need to treat people how they need to be treated! I am old now, I am 40, so I don't think I will ever achieve this level of maturity :D but I have just discovered your videos and I love them! Thank you!
