Love that aspect! That is how it really goes! Even when we do a full makeover - it’s gathering things slowly, and we just wait to put it all together at once

I love watching your videos. Your channel motivates and inspires me so much! I definitely like how you did the casual blanket in your Utah bedroom but here I think it pulls the bed together and really ties the whole look together when it is more formal like option one. I also think adding the tray to option one would be nice sometimes too! Stay awesome girl!

That’s definitely how it goes! We just slowly find things, but when I do a makeover, I just hold onto everything until I’m ready to put it all together at once 💗

I would vote spread out, i love the big reveals but it is also nice to see it go piece by piece like on a budget :) I know you gather as you go but it is nice to be reminded that even influencers do it that way :)

Slowly coming together is a personal preference. I enjoy you being transparent with your transitions. We are all humans with REAL LIVES! Knowing you keep to budget and get things here and there is definitely homey and realistic. Again personal preference and motivation.☺️
I like that you talked about flipping situations. Often I get stressed out with my dogs leaving their toys all over the place. And I keep reminding myself one day they won't be here to leave toys everywhere and I'm going to wish I could go back to a time they did leave toys everywhere. My dogs are my children and I love them with all my being.

Hubby and i had a huge blow up the other day, I was crying at the end of it and very frustrated. Took a little break from each other. Hubby's health has never been good, it really bothers me when a day happens that I can't just enjoy what time I have with him. However, sometimes an argument reminds me how really precious this time is.
I prefer option one. The new paint looks great and the bedding is gorgeous!
First- the bed blanket in Option 1, less to move at night! Second, I like the reality of things coming together slowly- it’s so more real; it shows how our homes come together over time instead of RUclips instant and that will help many who are just starting out or also moving and need to fill spaces they didn’t have before. Always enjoy your content!

Option 1. It’s very neat. & makes the bed look finished.
i LOVE option 1, and that’s how i make my bed every day! i’ve tried doing option 2 and i noticed that having my blanket on the bed like that made me more tempted to lay back down in bed. no matter how nice my pillows or anything else was. so just keep that in mind! that comfy cozy look MAKES you want to comfy cozy 😂😂
I always look at negative things as God teaching me something. Humbling myself always makes me feel better. I also look at every day as a blessing with new adventures .
Fingerprints on fridge... sidewalk chalk art... my hubs and I struggled w fertility for years. We are so blessed w our girls and every time they do sidewalk chalk art, I absolutely treasure it! I encourage them to use the chalk on our cinderblock fence as well! They are growing out of that phase though but I’m going to love every moment while it lasts!
You have a beautiful sense of style and I love watching all your videos. I find myself coming back again and again not just because of your style but because you have a very calming manner and a grateful heart. These qualities really resonate with me and I am sure they are part of why you have such a kind and loyal subscriber community. My kids are grown but watching your videos and remembering the hustle and bustle and of daily life when I was raising my family always makes me smile!
I've conquered my fears with side hustles. I was afraid of haunted houses so I got a job at one as an actor. I was afraid of driving so I became a door dash driver. Both these have been great experiences for me and I'm so proud.

I like seeing places come together slowly. Just add stuff as you get it. Sometimes you have an item you bought for a specific place and it's ends up somewhere else. That is fun to watch.

In regards to being positive...My day can sometimes be not great or I'm feeling not great in myself and then I watch one of your videos and they truly make me happy and lift my spirits. You made it look so easy putting that duvet cover on. 😳 I’m wrestling with mine for what feels like 20 mins every time I wash my bedding 🙃
I had the same issue. I ditched the duvet cover and just got a comforter. Duvet covers are my sworn enemy lol
The trick is to turn it inside out and lay the duvet insert on top… then tie the corners & pull it right side out & close it up 🙌🏼
Having the strings is clutch. I bought one without and thought I'd use clips and they work for the bottom, but as soon as you make the bed the first time and pull it up the ones at the top usually come off. This set looks beautifully made, just wondering if it has french closure pillowcases.
I have one it zips I don't know how to do it confuse

When those pendants first came out of the box I was super skeptical but they look fantastic! They bring an almost industrial vibe to the room and they look great. W/r/t video pacing in the new rooms, I’m all for seeing it come together as you progress. This is real life and most of us bring rooms together at a slower pace. It’s fun to watch it evolve. Both are pretty but my vote is for option 1. It just “feels” calming. Option 2 would be cute on an ottoman. (Just my opinion😘)

I’m also afraid of heights, so I get you! It has helped me to really get curious about what kinds of situations make me feel that panic, and what helps. Standing on a ladder indoors to paint is much better than getting on a ladder outdoors, for example. And I love things like roller coasters and flying, where I feel like I’m attached to the vehicle. I heard someone say they were afraid of “unsecured heights” and that phrase really fits my experience. Way to go for exercising your courage!!! I agree- tackling a fear in small ways is really good for us. I still FEEL that fear, but I know I can do it anyway, rather than just freezing up.
The bed- I like option 1, with the blanket straight across. I think it makes such a clean and lovely block of color contrasting with the light duvet that way.
😊 Re: makeover videos - it is very satisfying watching a whole room makeover, but it's more realistic and practical for you guys to update your offices as you get stuff. For one-off viewers whole room makeovers are a win, but for the rest of us who are just excited for your guys' journey: I like videos like this where it's a mixup of progress overall and feels relatable and full of accomplishment.

Option 1 for me, love Boll and Branch sheets. My husband bought them for our 20th anniversary and I thought he was crazy spending that much but quickly changed my mind after the 1st night sleep, 4yrs later and they’re still super soft and comfy.
I actually like a video solely for room transformation since I would be able to see clearly the before and after as well as the progress.

Whenever I’m clumsy and drop something, my turn around moment, that I learned from my husband’s family, is the good news is that gravity works XD I know it may sound silly, but it has definitely helped me to not feel so embarrassed when I have those clumsy moments

I like the light fixtures. You can always change light bulb wattage if you don’t want them as bright. But it brightens your house. I like.

Something positive in my life was deciding to go back to college later in life to provide a better future for my kids! It's really hard having three kids, working, and taking on several classes. But each semester accomplished is another step closer to checking off my list of goals!

Great video! I was so relaxed at the end. I was waiting for you to turn the lights off in the house and just leave a candle burning and the night light over the counter. :) That's always my favorite. Turn off the lights, light a candle and just be thankful that I have a home to clean.

I think I would pick your first choice for the blanket on your bed, and I love to watch room makeovers from start to finish, I love seeing the end result. Good choice for the kitchen lights they are so much better than the old ones, they are more eye-catching. Have you ever thought of painting the niche with your wedding photo a slightly darker shade than your wall? If you do, you find it pops more. You and Kyle make a great team!!!
