The Tele body has that "just right" feeling about it, especially when there's a belly cut. Easy to hold and handle, the Tele was well designed by Bigsby in the late 40s. Gotcha!

Great collection. I wasn't much of a Tele fan until I learned that Glen Phillips of Toad the Wet Sprocket has one and has played it (on Toad records and live) since the late 80s. Also, Todd Nichols of Toad (same band) loves Teles and now builds them himself. My goal in life is to have a custom tele made by Todd, and play all my favorite Toad hits on it (they recorded many of my favorite guitar tones with Telecasters over the years). I also really REALLY love the look of an all rosewood neck! If I'm ever fortunate enough to be able to afford a custom partscaster made by Todd Nichols, I'll have him make me a Tele with a rosewood neck.
    Thanks for the video!

Also I'd like to know why you didn't keep the JA90? Cause that one was so different, with the P90s and Gibson scale length and set neck. Thinking of getting one of those 🤔

You have some unique and sweet Teles, the Harrison being the most awesome of all. A long, long time ago I owned a Thinline Tele but I'm not a fan of the Tele neck pup. Recently I missed having that Tele bridge twang and the Strat's chimey neck, so I bought a cheap 2020 Lead II and stuck a Duncan Twangbanger in it. It's close to a perfect hybrid but could still use a Tele bridge pup. At some point I'm thinking I'll get a Vintera 70s Tele and swap the AlNiCo WRHB for a CuNiFe one, since that's Seth's whole point of making those. But since last year my Tele money has gone to two Les Pauls, one with P-90s and one with mini humbuckers. A little twang still, but with a Gibson growl.

The pickups in the recent player series are basically an unbranded "Twisted Tele" set going by the specs and from what I've read (different codes but identical specs). I have some Player series in my partscaster that a buddy had replaced with a "nocaster" set and gave me for free. Now he's jealous because my partscaster sounds better than his Player series. I'm a bass guitarist (guitars are just for fun for me) and Tele's are joint favourite with SG's for me.

I would like to trade in some of my internet bucks to ask what is special about the rosewood Tele? Does it have a different sound, is it The Beatles connection (I’m assuming you like that band), or does it just feel different than other guitars because of the wood it’s made of.
My first Tele was a Harley-Benton rosewood Tele copy. I thought it was funny even the fretboard isn’t actually made of rosewood. Does have a flame maple neck. To get a real Tele I bought a blemished plus top Mexican player for half price, and didn’t like it as much as the HB. Went to a local shop and walked out with a heavy relic Fender Custom Shop 52 Telecaster.
Before I knew what a Les Paul was as a kid I wanted a Tele. The HB filled that for me while I bought a few Gibsons, but your channel did help push the Tele back to the front of my mind. Thank you for that or I would have missed a month old trade-in used deal on that Custom Shop Tele because I wouldn’t have looked at it on the wall with all the 58 and 59 LPs next to it. I bought it at a discount used a month and a half after it was made, and while it’s not a George Harrison signature LP it was made on my daughter Lucy’s birthday this summer. I’m a Beatles fan, too.
