Congrats Landon. And of course you do deserve it, why wouldn't you. I've an older all rosewood Tele that is not chambered, weight is over 11 pounds. I've modified mine into an Esquire with the Eldred wiring modification. They are very cool guitars, enjoy.
@@jonniegibbins Yeah, 11 pounds is about the limit. I remember the Fenders and Gibsons of the '70s being pretty heavy. In 1977 I traded in my old Fender Mustang towards a brand new '77 Les Paul Deluxe, I'd swear that Les Paul felt like it weighed twice what that Mustang did!
I've taken many vacations Timothy Leary Style. It definitely formed my character and Outlook. Awesome video and awesome guitar. I'm almost jealous. Glad I'm not the one that's going to put the first ding on it. LOL
A big life pleasure for me is to play through a 68 Princeton with a touch of reverb and tremolo and the neck pickup of a good guitar- this one sounds sensational

I also have one, and it's my favorite for sure. I liked it so much that I had two at one point, then realized while nice, that I couldn't reasonably justify more than one, so sold one.
I can't add anything that does that guitar any justice, just wanted to say i have (as of late) been in agreement with you on Harrison as my current fav beetle.... After seeing and hearing this guitar i feel like he has pulled away!
Hey Landon, Don’t ever sell this guitar man, I’m pretty pissed at myself for not preordering myself one! As I’m typing this I don’t know the weight of it ( maybe you mentioned it in part one… I’ll have to check that out ). Even if it’s an 11 pound boat anchor I wouldn’t care 🤣…. I love rosewood obviously. I’m stating the obvious here but I’m certain this run will only keep going up in time. Sounds great, but these are all about the look anyway imo. Just beautiful man.
That 64 gray is maybe the best pickup fender makes. It may be tied with 51 nocaster pup. I have that 64 in bridge of my ash LE telecaster and it just sings. There isn't anything I can't do with it and have it sound better while doing it. That guitar is simple and beautiful Landon. I have some nice pieces but that one makes me a bit jealous.
I like the way the strap has an F so you know it goes up front. That guitar or the GL are way up on my list, or a 335 or perhaps a flying V. Oh well back to the video. Nice work.

Did you ever hear the story about George loaning the rosewood Tele to Delaney Bramlett for a Delaney and Bonnie tour? He never got the guitar back. I read that in George Harrison Behind the locked door. ✌👽

George Harrison was a legend!!! "Got My Mind Set On You" & "Cheer Down" are two of my favourite ever songs. And the Willbury's were just the best... you should get Rocky next 👍👍
It's a cover, but the original was not a significant hit. Kind of brilliant of George to store it away in his head for twenty years and then popularise it the world over. Was kind of strange to hear the original in Edgar Wright's One Night in Soho, just because I doubt anyone was playing it in Soho in the 60s.

Absolutely exceeded my expectations based on some reviews that I have seen, but it may be because this is a newer version of the guitar? All I know is that I would love to have one! Maybe my next guitar? There’s always hope.😊

George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" album is just as good as any Beatles records (I am a massive Beatles fan). I installed the Fender Pure Vintage '64 Telecaster Pickup Set and a MojoTone Solderless wiring kit with 500k pots on my Squier Classic Vibe 50's and sounds just like that guitar, but that Harrison guitar looks prettier than the Squier.

George Harrison called The Fender Rosewood Telecaster ” The worst guitar I have ever played”. George was never seen again with a Telecaster for the rest of his career. George Harrisons favourite guitar from 1957!untill he died was the Fender STRATOCASTER. But it was Paul Who thought a Telecaster would sound Good on the Let it be album. So Paul ordered the guitar George called ” The worst guitar I have ever played” the Fender Rosewood Telecaster. And as stated earlier George never played a Telecaster again for the rest of his career.

I’ve seen that Fender logo over the finish on several 60’s RI telecasters. Even on the CS versions.

The rosewood necks that came out of the mod show a few years back had the logo etched into the wood
