They would pay 8-9k max for that watch right now
I sold a mint green datejust 41mm with fluted bezel and oyster bracelet to a watch dealer back in September 2023. I paid $10K for it, he offered me $13.5K and straight up said, “im going to put it up for sale at $14K…. I figured there was no way he was telling me the truth about his price … but sure enough, I kept watching his online offerings and it was put up for exactly what he’d said. Dude was straight out honest, and good guy to talk to and get to know.
I love learning from these videos 🙏🏼
But you can also sell them way faster than any other watch
Not just the watch only!
True but it takes time and it’s not as easy as every one thinks to get cleintel like that
No kidding, that was stated.
Depends on the watch
When a person starts telling you everything they have to do ..and how much it’s going to cost him to do it.. you should definitely just walk away
So are watch dealers just passing watches off to each other?
Basically yes.
The used-car business is exactly the same.
Interesting business model
That's why they are so expensive. Each dealer pays 5% more each time it is passed on, and then when a customer wants to purchase it, the price has significantly increased.
@@mcapps1yep true
A little fast talk
"I specialized in everything"
And here's the bullshit😂
It's all bullshit...Rolex is putting all these flim flam men outta business
Best content the bazar
Meanwhile Rick would say, "Best I can do is $20"
What a racket.
At the end of the day how why do I care what your doing with sum after it ain’t mine 😅
Specialises in everything... Never heard of Nomos!
How does he go from 13 three all the way to 14?😂
Bro this is the tactic they us to get ur watches at what they want to pay for them stop letting these guys steal ur percentage
But then who do you sell to? You need to sell your watch worse than they need to buy it and if you don't "let them steal your percentage" you get no percentage because you probably won't sell it.
It's better than buying all those old strange looking over priced watches that sit forever and the band looks like their dog used it as a chew toy
😂
They would sell it for 19.5😂…
Oh no you gotta put it online 😲
He is saying he has to pay people to put it online and market it. Every person from the person the cleans the watch to the last person that boxes it for shipping all have to be paid.
Oh no he didn’t buy your dumb watch 😢
@@primocancilla3390 some people like nice stuff. It’s not for everyone. Some people like Nike shoes that cost 10 dollars to make and sell for 200.
@@primocancilla3390 what?
Uhh what he said is the opposite of how it works I don't gaf what anyone says
Rolex margins are the lowest.
He said the more popular something is, the less profit margin you have? Is he a Bizzaro watch dealer or should I just assume everything he says is either wrong or a lie?
For somebody that retails watches, but he’s talking about the wholesale side of his business, that doesn’t make any sense to me if I were on the seller side
You can’t talk to me about how you wholesale it when you have a retail market that’s smoke and mirrors
Some people just don’t understand business
Wholesale price would be box bag recipt?
Infront would be one across from the ither
Online is dealership next to you? Or who your standing next to?
What do you get for a whole sale alone?
A whole sale perhaps a Fille?
Maybe a moonyecca?
A doll
How much is a Doll?
By the way these are questions
Tell you some bs so they can buy your watch at a fraction of the price then resell for a fatty margin 😂😂
How hard is it to fake a Rolex card
They always have a story when you are selling them a watch as to how can they make money off of it cause they have to do this for it and that they are making money from it believe me this I know John Travolta $5,000 believe me this
Signs of a dying market that was so overhyped and saturated there is no room for anyone anymore. Not to mention the hyper copies available now in every premium brand.
Always spitting game
Was that in a bird cage?
Scammers
That's why it's all the scam. Hardly any actual customers are buying these watches. It's just from dealer to dealer. It will all come crashing down eventually
Funny how they want top dollar for there product but never top dollar to the customer selling his goods back. It’s never a enough profit margins for these guys.
Yea crazy how businesses work, buy low sell high. You’re going to be really mad when u hear about the stock market. I suggest not looking into it
I don't understand the appeal of Rolex.
I understand the investment component, but I think they are boring watches for the most part. They all look basically the same and they just change up the colors occasionally.
They are essentially machine made, robust tool watches.
They sell a MILLION watches a year.
Yet they attract boutique watch prices.
HOW?
Hello. My grandfather handed me his 2 rolex, he told me that he bought it years ago. I’m ready to sell it now. But i don’t know if it’s both authentic, any way i could contact you so you could check it yourself if it’s legit both. I’d like to sell them $3000 for both if proven authentic. I have the datejust and the sea-dweller.
Rolex. Hecho en Mexico
