Your watch maker can not service this sacrilege ….a castrated ETA 2824-2, 4hrtz, not 3, fully serviceable by any competent watch maker. The 3hertz (the “magic” in the 80 hour power reserve) Power Matic 80 is basically a disposable movement ergo no need for a regulator cock for the balance wheel. I really like my one and only Power Matic-80 fueled watch, my Khaki Automatic but nope, I would pay a premium to get an old school ETA 2824-2. Thanks
Every time I see one online I want to put mine on again. I think it is probably a little overhyped, but I think the value is too good for it to be overrated. Especially the quartz version. It's hard to beat and now that it comes in a smaller size it's easier than ever to recommend it.
I like the PRX. The money and value is entirely in the bracelet, which is beautifully designed and executed. As for the hate, it’s just a natural reaction from contrarians. That’s OK. But it’s best to ignore extreme opinions in both directions.
@@RicardoHawkes I like the standards (like Rolex and Tudor), which are good brands for you to cover to get views/subscribers. But my collection also includes watches that not many care about, like vintage LIP and Bulova, Asian micro brands/independents (MING, Kurono Tokyo) and random California-dial watches. I also like watches that are not in my collection, like the PRX, the Octo Finissimo and the 222. I am trying to make sense of the blurry lines between Seiko 5, Seiko, King Seiko and Grand Seiko.

The PRX didn’t copy the Royal Oak, it shares some similarities. But actually it designs inspired from Rolex Quartz.
