- The ongoing saga of the 1994 Buick Regal, here is how to change the oil. And what a pain, the filter location leaves a lot to be desired. If you are interested in doing it yourself, watch this video and pick up some tips and confidence to do it yourself. Would apply to all cars with the 3800 V6 in Buick Pontiacs, and Oldsmobiles and even some Chevys. Cars like the Bonneville, Grand Prix, Monte Carlo, Lumina, Cutlass Supreme, Buick Park Avenue and many more! Enjoy!

Thank you for this video, doing change on a 1991, the passenger wheel off is the easiest way
I just did this again on Monday, using the "correct" smaller filter (Napa 1040 or AC Delco PF47), its easy to do it from the top as the filter is much smaller. Glad the video was helpful!
Thank You Sir...that was a pleasant experience. 😊
Awesome. Will be getting back to this vehicle fairly soon.
Will be attempting to change the oil on my 97 Regal LS. Not looking forward to getting into the filter. Will update when finished.
Once you find a way, you’re good. Just have to find the position for you.
@@Turbo231 Wasn’t actually that bad. With the 97 the filter is accessible underneath. Kinda going at it at an angle near the wheel well, but it was easier than I thought it would be
updates on the probe?
Well, first car show is July 9th, so she’s up next. Weather is coming right around!
I have a 92 regal and getting to the oil filter isn’t always fun
I find the series 2 3800 to have a much better location.
@@Turbo231 It does, it’s right behind the passenger wheel
you figure it would be similar to change the oil on a 96 buick regal?
Totally.
I believe the 96 has the series 2 3800 which is like the Grand Prix as far as an oil change.
