Seems to be a common problem, the installation wont go past a quarter of the way through, and says "An error occurred while copying the windows installation files". I understand its hard to troubleshoot and fix a problem you haven't experienced, but if you have any ideas, I'm sure a lot of people are having this problem too.

The process will be same but you'll need a USB flash drive with alt least 6GB of space. Make sure to backup all data from your USB flash drive because all data will be lost during installation

how i installed windows 10-11 on my macbook pro 2012 without usb is install a iso then create a partition with exfat format then unmount the iso and copy the files from iso then paste in the new partition then i installed opencore legacy patcher then clicked build and install opencore so efi boot shows up when i reboot when its installed it will tell u to reboot then hold option key when turning on mac then click efi boot then the bootcamp logo disk or whatever and then when u come to the problem where it has some problem with the format then click format or if that didn't work try deleting it and clicking the unallocated one then its easy anyone can do it :) if it does not work then try with catalina or higher version of macos

What about the bootcamp support software that has the drivers so that the mac firmware will run on the windows partition? I know with windows 7 and earlier you have to make sure to have those drives on a usb drive formatted with FAT32 which you then install on the windows partition. Is it different when installing windows 8 and 10 via bootcamp? It seems like it is done automatically. You know how there is the option download the latest Windows support software in Bootcamp Assistant. Is it the same with windows 8 and 10?

Yes it asks to insert usb disk but my both usb slots are damaged.

Solution. Just select the 3rd option and have the iso already downloaded in the download folder and then press continue

Looked it up and apparently the streamlined Boot Camp is only on MacBooks 2015 and later. Otherwise need USB installer.

it means you can get windows 8, 8.1 and 10 only, not any older versions

Re-download the file.... The file should be around 5 GB.... Hope I helped
If you're still having problems, what you need to do is unselect the top options in select tasks, so that only the middle and bottom are checked.
