I definitely feel your reaction. I fell in love with this fragrance lately and ordered a full bottle. Regarding the scratched packaging: Unfortunately i´ve experienced similar things with some of my Xerjoffs. Leaked liquid or poorly glued "X" on the bottle. I´ve heared they can´t keep up with the hype and demand and the quality suffers from that. Shouldn´t be like that, but maybe it´ll change. Hope that the brand stays as strong as it usually is.
Glad you got it and loved it like i do. Its my fave Xerjoff and i love all of them that i have. Tony Iommi is guitarist from Black Sabbath he formed band they are the God fathers of heavy metal. Ozzy Osborne was their lead singer for 10 yrs. You might not have heard of them but most likely yiu heard their music on ads or sporting clip compilations. Monkey Special is Tony Iommis guitar you see on the bottle little monkey faces etched. To me i smell rum leather caramel. It lasts long and projects well. Awesome sillage.. But best of all after several hours it becomes smoother and softer and closer to skin completely different profile but just as good. Lasts well over 12 hours. I'm impressed you got it for $100 here in Aus i got it on sale for $320. Loving the reactions and your taste in frags keep up the good work.
I see that it has Ambergris listed as a note. I have typically had terrible experiences with Ambergris. Scared to blind buy because of it. I have 3 other Xerjoff that I love but none have Ambergris as a main note
This will be my next high dollar blind buy. Love naxos but i gotta try this. Soprano was pretty good too. Have you tried the via cavour 1 or capitale. I like gourmand and that capitale sounds like something I'll enjoy.

Yeah one bottle came out of the groove and the cap off but I chalk it up.
