This is hands down the best graveyard content channel on RUclips… it’s the only one that has high production value coupled with the narration, which is respectful, humorous and never goes for the creep factor or obsessively morbid (like some “ohh we may see a bone today” variety of channels)….it’s always a pleasure when I see a new video posted….

When I was 8, we lived 4 houses down from Valhalla on N Valley. At the time the plane crashed, I managed to get a small piece of the wreckage and bring it home to show it off. Well, my mother, was mortified and insisted that I take it back to the crash site. What a memory

My brother is buried there. I never knew him, he was before me, but died as an infant. The people at Valhalla were so very kind. I don't live in the area any longer, but they found his grave, cleaned it up, put flowers around it before taking a photo of it for me. Perhaps one day, I 'll go back to the old stomping grounds and visit him in person.

Valhalla is a truly a Beautiful and Unique Cemetery! I found your theme of visiting the Supporting Players of the film industry as well as others really touching and interesting. They deserve to be remembered and recognized for their talent and hard work. It’s was so special to see the Portal again being reminded of those who shockingly lost their lives on Challenger as well as others in Aviation! So uncanny to see a Plane Crash against the Shrine! What a Stunning Sunset to See toward the end with this second visit to the Visually Pleasing Valhalla. Excuse the pun but how time flies! These videos are always superb but what truly stands out is the respect and reverence you give to each and every person featured. From the biggest A listers to the folks in the films from the lesser known "Poverty Row" studios, you treat everyone equally and that's important, because the story of Hollywood would not exist without each and every one. Thank you for all you do, including all the recent work organizing the neglected cremation storage areas elsewhere.

I'm a Dane and Christen Klitgaard (Kit Guard) sounded very Danish, so I had to investigate why, and I found that he was Danish-born, and moved to the US around his 20th birthday, or so. Very cool. Also, something tells me that I've heard/read about him in something regarding Danes immigrating to the US in the early to mid-1900s, and becoming successful in some chosen field of work. Thanks for adding him in this vid.
(Also cool that as a Danish-born, his grave is in a cemetery called Valhalla...)

I always look forward to seeing your videos. I wonder if you could do a special for the viewers again? This one would include personalities other than those that were involved with the movies or if they are involved, maybe slip in historic military people, and others noted for some reason that can be pointed out. Something interesting to note. A great place to start is aptly named "Hollywood Cemetery" in Richmond, VA (there is a Poe Museum downtown too!). I don't know why it has this name but it is quite impressive. One person I know of who is buried there in music is the former lead singer of the rock band, GWAR, Dave Brockie. I spent 2 hours in that cemetery yesterday - Its just amazing. It is not a perpetual care and is very old, so you can imagine all the things you can see or how it appears. Truthfully, pictures don't do it justice. There are a few presidents as well. I am interested in seeing what the viewers can put together.

Another great video, Arthur. Thanks for acknowledging the character actors who were as much a part of the older films as the stars. Valhalla looks great now. The management should get kudos for getting the cemetery back in shape. It is good to see headstones for those who had not had one for years. Honestly, no grave should be without a headstone, it gives the grave a sense of emptiness for the deceased.

Once again an outstanding production by Hollywood Graveyard but then again, everything that HG has aired has been outstanding!
Thank you for giving the warm comfort and solace to be able to pay ,y respects to so many that I will likely never be able to see in person.
For some reason I always have the feeling of being hugged for the duration of the video after has come to the end.
A feeling of great comfort and safety to know that others still care about those who have graced our presence in one way or another.
Thank you Mr. Dark and Team!!

Arthur I love your revisits! There is always more to see. It's also such a good feeling to see all of the grave sites that were previously unmarked get a new stone. Bless all the people who make this happen....

Not sure if Arthur has new recording equipment, but his voice sounds like it has more presence than it has in previous videos. Sounds really good!

Long time follower of your channel, thank you Arthur for your hard work. Every time you post a new video. I am excited and intrigued. For me, because history is a huge love of mine I always think about when I was born, who was still with us and who have I seen since that time.
Coming up on a huge birthday in the next few weeks. I thank you for your dedication to this craft and the respect you give all who are featured, Lord knows that opinions can vary, but I'm always amped to do research on everybody featured after I see your videos.
I even realized last week that most of the big names in Hollywood from the 60s through the 80s and backwards through to the 1930s. I've more than likely seen, my grandmother used to have lots of stories about the screen idols of her day. I miss her and those conversations. Arthur thanks once again for your hard work.

6:00 THANK YOU for including the Tom Sawyer poster image--this was one of our film favourites, growing up...
34:23 There is a plaque for the survivor, Mr. Black--but what about the Pilot and Co-Pilot who lost their lives in that 'ironic' crash?
It is good to see the cemetery looking MUCH MORE PRESENTABLE now; the last time you visited, the site appeared almost derelict. 😢
