@@IPIRIEYI feel like Vincent is the most unique character to play as in the OG, so they probably need to properly flesh out his “limit breaks” for the final game

This game and everyone in it looks absolutely incredible. FF7 blew me away when I played the original, and I can tell this is going to do the same. I can't wait to play it.

I actually think this may be GOTY potential. It looks better than ff16 and ff16 was already awesome?! I'm astonished that Square was working on both ff16 and Rebirth at the same time.
Well, the two games worked by Different team inside SquareEnix, here :
FFXVI developed by Square Enix Business Division 2 , lead by Director: Hajime Tabata, and Producer: Shinji Hashimoto
FFVII Rebirth developed by Square Enix Creative Business Unit I , lead by Director: Naoki Hamaguchi, Motomu Toriyama, Tetsuya Nomura, and Producer: Yoshinori Kitase.
FF16 was the definition of all style and no substance. Aside from the rollercoaster rides for Boss Battles that were 90% on rails the game barely touches a 7/10. 16 was a massive disappointment imho.
FF7 rebirth cant even be compared to 16 since 16 is so different, but when it comes to story, world, characters, lore, and heart FF7 remake and rebirth blow FF16 so far out of the water it looks like team rocket.
you can fucking bring Barret as a date, instant game of the year just because of it.

I’d wait to watch Advent Children because they confirmed the movie is canon so the games will lead up to the movie eventually which I cannot wait 😄😄😄
Remake seems to have been a stealth sequel, though, so AC might actually be before these games, at least from the Planet's perspective 😅

To me this is a lot of flair to soften the blow of the fact that this isn't a remake but a sequel. And I'll keep saying it until Nomura finally admits it, which will happen after the series ends. Cool gameplay, but it's still a sequel and not a remake. And I was promised a remake witha story faithful tothe original for over 15 years. Now it turns out we're living a loop or some shit because Nomura is trying to make everything into Kingdom Hearts.
to each their own, I like that its not completely the same.
I'd ne more appreciative of the game if they weren't hyping it as "a story faithful to the original" when the main plot is altering the timeline :P
This is my gripe. I hate the padding, the style of gameplay, everything that was lost to make it look pretty. I don't know, I'm still so jaded about it and it makes me feel like something is wrong with me since everyone else seems to sing its praises
@@NuRm69 I don't mind that they're different. I mind that it's advertised as a remake. it's not, it's a sequel. because the alternate timeline is part of the new plot.
@@luciferfaust They did embellish everything nicely in my opinion. It's just that Nomura was the creative director and he sticks KH plot in other games the same way Booty Hunter sticks his dick. The nice way or the hard way, he's going to stick it. because he's a Narcisus and you can tell from his 8th grade syndrome that he has in his 40s, like that ending from Squid Games.
