Wet bowl (1/2 cup flour, garlic, onion powder, cajun seasoning, cumin, non-dairy milk...combine to get a batter-like consistency) and dry bowl (1/2 cup flour, 1/3 cup bread crumbs, salt, pepper) mixtures. Dip in wet batter then dry batter and fry in hot vegetable oil; make waffles w/Bisquick mix, adding in almond milk...put in waffle maker. Top with 3 mushroom pieces, sprinkle w/powdered sugar and maple syrup. 2) Braided Apple Pastry-filling: 3 1/2 tbsp vegan cream cheese, 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract mixed together in a bowl; Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry sheet (let sit out at room temperature for 20 mins to thaw on baking sheet), unfold it and spread cream cheese mix on middle strip, apple pie filling or other fruit filling, cut outer strips on the diagonal and fold one over the other like a braid, brush w/melted vegan butter and sprinkle with sliced almonds. Bake at 400° for 20 mins. Drizzle with icing made from almond milk and powdered sugar. Slice diagonally for individual portions. 3) Berry Banana Vegan Crepes- 1/2 cup flour, 3/4 cup almond milk, 2 tbsp apple sauce, 1 tsp brown sugar, 1/2 tsp melted coconut oil, 1/4 tbsp vanilla extract, pinch of salt...whisk together (makes about 5 crepes). Spray heated skillet with olive oil. Put in 1/4 cup batter and swirl it around to cover most of the bottom of the pan. Cook for 2 mins over medium heat (flip once the edges turn brown). Cook the other side for 2 mins as well. Repeat...crepes should be golden brown. Then, stuff them with sliced strawberries and bananas or filling of choice. Top with non-dairy ReddiWip, drizzle with chocolate syrup and sprinkle w/sliced almonds. 4) Tofu Veggie Scramble-drizzle olive oil in skillet, saute diced peppers and onions, add extra firm tofu crumbled by hand, a handful of baby spinach. Then season w/turmeric, salt, pepper and red chili flakes. 5) Tequila Sunrise-add ice, Tequila*, orange juice and stir. Pour in grenadine (will settle at the bottom). Add sparkling water. *omit Tequila for mocktail

I’ve been watching your videos and try a lot of the recipes with my sister who has been vegan for about three years. We made the “chik’en” today and was completely blown away. However, you make it look so easy and doable!!!
Just tried the fried "chicken" and it was DELICIOUS! It doesn't taste like chicken, but that's ok. Its a very light taste and very filling. I loved it. And it was quick and simple. Maybe I'll start a meatless Monday and have some of these recipes.

I learned from ghettovegans that you can also make an “egg” mixture by using soaked flaxseed with mustard and red hot sauce. I’m going to try this flour wet mixture but add the red hot and mustard for extra flavor.

I use to eat chicken & waffles at my fav restaurant & I would have them dip the tenders in buffalo sauce! So when you put hot sauce on the mushrooms it took me back in time!!! I'm definitely trying everything from this video!!

I tried (tweeted) the recipe because I didn’t have any flour so are used a little bit of chickpea flour a little bit of spelt flour in a little bit of cornstarch for both mixes the wet in the dry. Also I used some stove top bread crumbs for the dry mix. But it turned out FIRE🔥🔥😋😋😋
