I've lost 8lbs in a week after finding your channel and switching up my meals! This is so easy and doable. I don't know about anyone else, but it's nice to see someone demonstrate what portion size should be and it's totally filling. I feel like you make eating healthy reachable for everyone.
I would like to get the perspective of a vegan about this. So I bought a sheep and I’m taking care of him but at the end I would have to slay him, however I do this to give 90% of the meat to people who needs it ( charity ), I know it’s complicated but the place where I live a small percentage of people don’t have that much food ( especially protein ). So what do you think this is brutal or not?

I'm struggling with transitioning to the vegan lifestyle because of the rest of my household not supporting me with this decision and also triggers. You make your recipes so easy to follow, I can't wait until I find the strength to fully commit to this lifestyle. 😔
I was struggling at first until I told them I wasn't going to buy meat anymore and I cooked the same meals I used to but didn't add meat. For example my family's favorite meal was baked chicken, cabbage, string beans, and rolls or Cornbread. I cook the same things the same way but no meat and add beans or mushrooms to our meals. It took the pressure off of me trying to make them try new things. They are now on board and if they want meat they can get it outside the house.
I'm in the same boat. I prayed about it and asked God to lead me. Its been about 6 months now but I give myself grace ALL. THE. TIME. If I want some ribs with my hubby and daughter, I eat them. One thing I've noticed is that if I am hungry while prepping their food, then I eat something that's not too healthy. So I try to always have a healthy snack close by while I cook their food. I eat 80% vegan and I "relax" when I feel like it. God is not hard on us so why are we so hard on ourselves. Good luck sis!
Slide a few dishes in and don’t say anything. I’ve done that with chili. You can also make the pasta dishes with the cashews as the sauce and don’t tell them. I can’t do the cashew sauce because our youngest is allergic to nuts. Also try making more veggie dishes. I’m Not vegan but I’ve tried some of these things and they do t know if you don’t tell them. Season well though. Good luck
I checked my weight this morning and I am at 190 lbs! 😫😫😫 I'm going back to a vegan lifestyle! This video was right on time. My weight bumped up as soon as I started eating meat products again. I’m in a dorm right now so it’s hard to be completely vegan but I have cut dairy and meat down to 1-2 times a week, which is a major improvement! I can’t wait to make these when I move into my apartment.
Ok, so yesterday near dinner time I tried your pasta with cashew sauce idea and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I did have to tweak it a bit by adding spaghetti sauce to my cashews because I didn’t have tomatoes (I enjoyed that taste) and I used Rotini Chick pea pasta. I ate some blue berries as a snack with a couple of peanut butter crackers and I didn’t eat until about 1:00 p.m. the next day. My body felt satisfied in a healthy way. I am NOT vegan, I can’t leave bacon and chicken alone! Lol, I DO however LOVE to find better ways of eating. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and simple way of cooking healthier. You are definitely one of my food favorites!
I bought Kim's cook book and there are no lies told when it comes to how good the meals are. The book is definitely on of my go to's for what to make on the fly. I am not fully vegan but am definitely *more* plant based and transitioning .

I made the burgers and froze them. I have also made two more recipes from your cookbook. The stir fried broccoli and mushroom. Also the kickin cajun pasta. I used fettuccine because that is all I had and the divine tomatoes. Both were 🔥 I sent you an instagram picture of my fettuccine cajun pasta dish
