I've got a family situation going on too and don't know what the outcome will be , so difficult during this time of the Coronavirus when they will not even let you in to the hospital to be with that person. I have asked God to give you comfort during this trying time.
Sorry about your loss, but vegan isnt a diet. Plant based may be where your trying to go. Veganism wants the least amount of harm to animals, while plant based is 100% diet related.

I so so so appreciate this channel! There are lots of lovely vegan channels with gorgeous food and zero shortcuts... it seems so un-attainable. The food on this channel is accessible, practical, down to earth, delicious vegan food for regular folks. Also, you know the saying "cooked with love"? Every meal you prepare is made with love... for yourself! Just beautiful, inspiring and best of all ENCOURAGING. Ty so much!
I can’t stand a lot of faux meat either... messes with me sometimes. I make a lot Baja Bowls and Buddha Bowles. You should try this toast I make. You add vegan butter to a pan, add some bread (i like the Dave’s killer bread) while that’s toasting, mash up some avocado, cut a few slices of jalapeño l, red but purple onion lol, and tomato. Add a slice of vegan cheese to your bread. Sauté your veggies in a separate or the same pan. And top the veggies on top of your toast with the cheese and avocado.... it’s so good. Also try some black salt to your tofu scramble... so good 😊
To me it’s really disgusting and grosses me out lol . I’d rather have real meat or no meat at all . I did gave some faux crab cakes though now those were BOMB LOL
That's great news. But what's to consider? Lol Eating animals, or milks of other animals.. it's just kinda weird. Not to mention the health difference itself. The lack of vitamins and minerals you dont get from eating a "s.a.d." diet is ridiculous. Our bodies thrive from vitamins. We NEED them. The more we get(to a certain extent) the better we become. Mentally and/or physically. Shouldnt have to "consider" the right or wrong aspect. Pick your side lol I'm personally super grossed out by it all, and I love ALL animals and respect them too. We all have families and homes, we breath the same air, we eat the same food, we drink the same water...

Miss Fortune I know you said you’re not vegan, but just a word of caution. Read the labels if you ever do go vegan. I was eating the Morningstar burgers, too, until I realized they’re not vegan. The Black Bean Burger was my fave, then I read the ingredients. 🙁. It’s the bold letters at the end of the ingredient list that stunned me. Lol. 💕
Try quorn products! Morning star was the brand I started out on when I became prescetarian, but once I tried quorn products.. I will never go back to morning star 😂😂💜

Wow..i just have to say watching your video makes me know i can do this. Growing up my dad raised me vegan then of course my mom wasnt so i ended up not being able to eat vegan since i lived with her and she couldn't cook like my dad. Now im older and came to the conclusion i want to start back living a much healthier life. This is motivation for me, today was my first day not eating meat and i feel full..its weird i thought i would be starving! But im not.. I've never felt full when eating all that bad process food/meat,which is what caused a lot of health problems and overweight. Im very excited to try these foods in your video.
I really enjoyed this video. Thank you for showing how easy it is to make healthy meals. Little by little I’m trying to transition to being a vegetarian. Meat has been doing a number on my digestive track making me feel so sick after consumption. That Cajun pasta was everything. It looked so yummy. I love pasta. Can’t wait to give it a try. I’m glad I’m not the only one who has to have hot sauce on my pizza. That hot sauce on pizza takes it up a notch.

when you first start to go vegan, you will get bloated at first but this goes away! its just because raw food has a lot if fiber that your body isnt used to , but start off cooking your food and have a lot of low fiber to begin with and drink tons of water ! the bloat goes away after your body gets used to ur new lifestyle !! ❤️🦋
Actually im vegan and ive noticed that my appetite has been lower since ive switched over to vegan, every time i eat a meal i feel full and satisfied I definitely recommend going vegan theres a lot of benefits
niya_ 881 I agree with you! I’m not 100% vegan yet as I’m just starting but I definitely feel full longer after a vegan meal. Drinking a ton of water with meals and between meals has helped me a lot also.
I have been sketchy about meat since the start of the pandemic. You said in a previous video that you stopped liking how animal parts looked on your plate. I cracked up then thought about it and that was it for me. I have been meatless for a week now. I'm not at the meal prep stage but I'll get there. I do miss bacon, but not enough to eat it. Thanks for the videos. They are really helping me with expanding my meal ideas.
My two favorite vegan meals even for me who eats vegan 1 or twice a week. 1st cauliflower, sweet onions, bok choy, mushrooms, salt stir fried with olive oil. 2nd coconut lentil soup. Check sprouts ad to make sure on Wednesday's they have fruits and vegetables on sale

Love your vegan meals! Vegan doesn't look so bad when your recipes looks so yummy. I'm not quite there yet (occasionally, I eat fish, chicken and turkey - no processed here) but working on a more vegan menu in the near future. Have never tried tofu but will definitely try it cause my body loves it when I eat clean! Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Many of us know it's a lot of hard work doing these super videos but please keep up this great ministry. It helps a lot of people more than you know!

I’m not sure if you’ve tried it before, but I absolutely love black salt (kala namak) on my tofu scramble!! It has a very distinct sulphur “egg” smell and taste

Wow..i just have to say watching your video makes me know i can do this. Growing up my dad raised me vegan then of course my mom wasnt so i ended up not being able to eat vegan since i lived with her and she couldn't cook like my dad. Now im older and came to the conclusion i want to start back living a much healthier life. This is motivation for me, today was my first day not eating meat and i feel full..its weird i thought i would be starving! But im not.. I've never felt full when eating all that bad process food/meat,which is what caused a lot of health problems and overweight. Im very excited to try these foods in your video.

I really enjoyed this video. Thank you for showing how easy it is to make healthy meals. Little by little I’m trying to transition to being a vegetarian. Meat has been doing a number on my digestive track making me feel so sick after consumption. That Cajun pasta was everything. It looked so yummy. I love pasta. Can’t wait to give it a try. I’m glad I’m not the only one who has to have hot sauce on my pizza. That hot sauce on pizza takes it up a notch.

Are you ever bloated? I really want to be vegan but I'm so scared of being extremely bloated.
when you first start to go vegan, you will get bloated at first but this goes away! its just because raw food has a lot if fiber that your body isnt used to , but start off cooking your food and have a lot of low fiber to begin with and drink tons of water ! the bloat goes away after your body gets used to ur new lifestyle !! ❤️🦋

Actually im vegan and ive noticed that my appetite has been lower since ive switched over to vegan, every time i eat a meal i feel full and satisfied I definitely recommend going vegan theres a lot of benefits
niya_ 881 I agree with you! I’m not 100% vegan yet as I’m just starting but I definitely feel full longer after a vegan meal. Drinking a ton of water with meals and between meals has helped me a lot also.
I have been sketchy about meat since the start of the pandemic. You said in a previous video that you stopped liking how animal parts looked on your plate. I cracked up then thought about it and that was it for me. I have been meatless for a week now. I'm not at the meal prep stage but I'll get there. I do miss bacon, but not enough to eat it. Thanks for the videos. They are really helping me with expanding my meal ideas.
I know we've got to wonder about these meat products.
My two favorite vegan meals even for me who eats vegan 1 or twice a week. 1st cauliflower, sweet onions, bok choy, mushrooms, salt stir fried with olive oil. 2nd coconut lentil soup. Check sprouts ad to make sure on Wednesday's they have fruits and vegetables on sale

When I make my chocolate banana peanut butter smoothie ...if I want it extra sweet instead of adding sugar I add a couple Medjool Dates! Yummy! If they are hard just soften them in some warm water first.
