OMGoodness I got the giggles with the garbage map. Wow. That’s awesome. So many details! But seriously how cool! Barely anyone around here recycles. It’s quite sad. Love please don’t store your food in the fridge with the pot. Metals and or if it has Teflon can leech into your food. Glass... is perfect for storage. Large mason jars are great for that. Plus you don’t want to reheat your food over and over. What a large place! I love Japan. I wish I could live there. I adore the culture. I adore the curtsies they expect from each other. When I met my husband I had my living room table set up just like your dinning table. I was 22 when I met him. He walked into my home and asked if my mum was coming home in time for dinner. I laughed. No why? He’s like wait. This is your home? I was like sure is? Why? He’s like it looks like an older adult lives here. I was like. What did you expect? He’s like at your age... sorry but way less than what you have. I was like... I don’t know if I should be happy or feel insulted. We’ve been together for 19 years. Married for 16.
That is unbelievable value, relative to basically anywhere in the US. From what I have seen in Japan, most places are downright claustrophobia inducing. As far as what I've personally seen from Japanese apartments, you have the biggest place. I mean, I'm sure bigger places exist, but they seem relatively rare (outside looking in, of course). Now, I am not sure what you make out there, but for how little your rent seems to be, I'd definitely look into getting that ceiling fixed. Looks potentially hazardous to you health. Also, you totally have enough room to play with. Defy the JP norm of not having a dryer. They are super handy! Great video. Gives me hope that I could possibly not have to live like a sardine in Japan one day.
That’s a beautiful apartment! I live in California, so an apartment like that would cost roughly $1,200 a month or more.😂 One of these days I would love to move to Japan with my family, until then I’m learning Japanese!

I hope to get a similar placement, something rural so that it is subsidized and so I can experience a real feeling of living in Japan! I'd love to hear more about your experiences.
You have a great calm energy, subscribed right away 💖 but like others have said, ask someone about how to fix that black mold problem, because you could get seriously ill :s
q-teaa I’m glad my videos helped you! Good luck with your application! Check out my Jet Program experience playlist, if you haven’t already, for more JET-related videos
I would love to see an outdoor area video
Great apartment for only 200 dollars, congratulations!
Wow, that is a cheap rent for such a great place! Had a large house in Yokosuka shi. Was expensive, but worth it! Classed as a 3 bedroom!
Wow, that sounds nice!
i would feel sad in there. doesn’t look like a home
It looks fine, Jesus.
Carla MSM i’m just saying it looks sad cold and empty. a little plants and love would fix it up, no need to swear😌 but that’s why it’s a good thing i don’t have to live there, huh
It looks pretty great. It’s temporary until she completes what she is doing.
I mean it’s only 200 dollars
Good grief, she's a teacher living there for maybe a year. What do you want.
Love this video! Little cute home. A lot of people trying to live very lavish and out of their means which is not always the best idea! This video seemed very holsom and nice. Loved it and the hoem.seemed so cozy! I just read you dont live there anymore. Where ever you live now I hope you're enjoying your self! 😊
9:00 Yeah who needs to go shopping when you're already well stocked with Christmas reindeer (ears?), hangers, and lightbulbs?
I love it, especially with this price!
Actually a helpful (hopeful) post! My nephew wants to live in Japan one day.
That’s a beautiful apartment! I live in California, so an apartment like that would cost roughly $1,200 a month or more.😂 One of these days I would love to move to Japan with my family, until then I’m learning Japanese!
Chelsea Morris I’m back in California now too! I know what you mean. Apartments where I am in SF are way too expensive! Good luck with your Japanese studies 😊
realestate.co.jp/en/rent/view/259007 This is the usual price of an apartment of equivalent size in Japan.
Air freshener? I think that when you flush the toilet, that plastic device release a chemical into the water tank that helps prevent hard water deposits from forming in your toilet bowl.
I payed 55 000 ¥ for my 21 square meter mansion apartment in Tokyo, I thought that was cheap :D
That is a good price for Tokyo!
People like you are angels your a good person way over there helping others your mother raised a good person mush love thanks nice kind lady
How easy is it to get the landlords to fix the ceiling and doors? That ceiling looks like it could fall in, or kill you with mold.
That's like a whole house. And for only 200 😯
I love the kitchen! It's so "homey"!
Thank you for this video!!
the dining table got me chills
Can you pls make a video about JET program..thanks 😊
I want to! Is there anything specific that you're curious about but haven't see many videos about?
@@logiebear I'm interested in trying the JET program or another similar program, so I would love to hear what your job is like/what exactly you do every day, how the whole process went for you, what your life is like in Japan, and really any other details you think are a big deal.
@@0matas0 Thanks for the ideas! I'll keep that in mind.
It's so big! I lived in a Leo Palace with a loft. It was very small. And more expensive than what you are paying.
Thanks for showing your appartement! It's so cute ändert looks really great. I'm so jealous that you only pay 200... We pay 750 for one room in Canada Alberta! Plus one bathroom
Have fun in Japan 😋
Thank you!!
750 is a good deal! Here, studio starts at $1600.
@@ingenueblue8914 yea, here is the same. We(me and husband) live in a tourist town (Alberta). 2-bedroom apartment costs 1600-1800$ per month. So we only can afford one room. We live together with two roommates.
Crazy.
@@Josephin. I'm in northern va/DC area. 2 bedroom is like $2300 and up monthly. I hate it! No reason it should cost so much.
@@ingenueblue8914 that's crazy, nobody can afford that
o. O I hate it, too. We are forced to live either in one room or have 2 or 3 jobs, which is....
I wonder where we are in 10 years you know.
Thank you you have a beautiful space and you keep it up nicely. The music was very relaxing too.
I'm pretty sure that looked more like a hidden Mickey than a smiley face
