She gutted the apartment and made it super cool with more storage than I could have possibly dreamed off. It’s tiny, close to 400 SQF, but with the design you don’t need much furniture. I can fit a 72in dining room set and host my family of 10 for dinner. Koreans sure know about efficient home design!

Yes. I find some people spend too much time showing/explaining every individual item. For example, if they're showing bathroom storage they will pick up each item and talk about it. Beautiful apartment, Tayler! A nicely done tour.
A buddy of mine came back a year or two ago from teaching in Korea. He has the most amazing stories - including one where he got lost in an alley. A few women asked him if he liked cats, which evidently he responded correctly and was invited into a monastery. He ate with them in silence as more and more food came out. Even a round of watermelon which I believe is a delicacy, or at least served with more reverence there.
I actually really love this Apartment! The size isn’t bad for someone living alone, and makes it really easy to keep clean. I also think that the way they conserve space and all the high tech stuff in the apartment adds to the appeal. Its funny because I have the same rules for my home. No shoes in the house, and different slippers for the bathroom vs the rest of house. I need that recycling bag tho
I like the apartement so much, thats super comfy and literally my style, like the perfect apartment that i want it. Also the explanation of the apart so good, keep going 👍
I don’t normally watch these videos, but yours popped up in my feed. I enjoyed seeing your place and thought you did a great job laying out your tour. It makes me want to take your classes, because I’d bet you’re a clear and concise teacher! And I must say, you are so cute! Keep living well in SK!
I was thinking the same thing! I have a family of 5 so a small apartment like that would never work, however, it would be amazing to have that sort of organization and efficiency on a larger scale!
I’ve seen a lot of Korean apartment tours onRUclips but I think this one is the best. I love that the toilet area is separated cause I definitely wouldn’t go for the taking a shower with the toilet types.
I’ve been obsessed with watching Asian apartment tours. I wish I could move to South Korea but I live in the US and can’t obviously do that easily or without regret lol.
M B Of course not because we don’t live in an utopian world, however I can assure you that I would choose to live in the US over SK (if I had the opportunity to experience living in SK) especially with me being a black foreign female as well (this does not mean that I would not love to visit there; being a tourist and living there are two different experiences). But nice try 🤧
True False I live in the US and I can say that being yourself a black and in addition woman, you wouldn’t have an easy life. Even not white, or better any other human color, have an easy life. Besides the strong racial issues and discriminations ravaging in this country, hidden and not, the extreme individualism of which the American society is trenched, there are serious issues that effects everyday life and that regards breach of unalienable human rights such as access to exceptionally overpriced private health care and education systems that have basically become privileges only for who can afford it and causing people having often the only alternative to going into debts and eventually bankruptcy without mentioning its worrying lack of professionalism and so quality. Violence and massacres on a daily basis in churches, schools, movie theaters, malls because of the increasing crime rate clear reflection of increasing social and racial disparities and discrimination. A government that is governed not any longer by the people and for the people, but by the lobbyists and for the lobbyists. The list could go on. In other words, officially and manifestably a dictatorship disguised as democracy.
This place is great and, as everyone has commented, very efficient use of space! I could easily live here. Great that you get it for free from your employer! I live in San Francisco and I kind of wish there were a lot more units like this. Here people are either rich, have a very old rent-controlled unit that has not been upgraded, or are poorer and end up living in sub-par SRO-style places with shared toilets, vermin, and no kitchens. If there were just a ton of units like this everyone could have their own small place without it costing a small fortune!
I just found your videos and I'm so excited. I'll be coming to korea in the fall to teach with EPIK. Your channel will be very helpful so thank you for documenting your experience!
I love this apartment! Good size and looks very modern but cozy ^^ I'm currently going through the application process for EPIK so I'm hoping I get accepted and get an apartment as nice as this!! Of course it's not guaranteed though so I love watching tours like this to keep an open mind and prepare me for what I might end up with :)
I've been to Korea once and plan on going back after high school. This video made me look forward to going back as I also want to going into teaching.❤️ Aghh I miss korea so oooooo much ❤️
Really nice! I'm about to apply for the EPIK program for later this year and the apartment situation is on that has caused me some worry. But it's nice to know that at least some of the apartments are a lot better than before.
Wow, your flat is so so nice! And you’ve put this video together so we’ll!! We’re moving to Korea to teach with EPIK In February too, so this has been super interesting. Thank you!
I love your little apartment it’s so cute and futuristic at the same time. Seems very comfortable. I love South Korea. I’m a flight attendant and one of my favourite trips is Seoul. For years we stayed in Incheon for our layover, first in the Sheraton and then when it opened we moved to the Oakwood next door. (Lotte Mart right beside it, heaven! 😄) This hotel is an apartment hotel and our beautiful rooms (probably twice the size of your flat) came with a fully equipped kitchen, a walk in closet and the best feature imo is the bathtub with a view over the city. This is also the tallest building in Incheon and the hotel part of it starts quite high up. The crew room had an almost 360 view of the area which I watched being built bit by bit over the years. I absolutely loved it and I always imagined that the apartments in Seoul are similar to our hotel room. Unfortunately, like all good things, this had to come to an end as well. We were all gutted to leave this hotel. Now, we stay somewhere in south west Seoul in a normal Marriott, nice but nowhere near as fancy as the Oakwood.
this is honestly one of the best ones I have seen. I live in Daegu, and am on the small and outdated side of the apartment style. I am moving to a new one on my own next year. beautiful place, you must be super happy about that.

Ive been watching all your videos and I just wanted to say thank you. I have a chronic illness (POTS) and will be applying to the EPIK program for spring 2021. I was so afraid that they wouldn't accept me due to the fact I had a condition. Everyone was telling me to lie on my application, something I wasn't very comfortable doing. I almost decided not to apply until I found your video. Thank you for giving me hope.
I’m so glad! I wasn’t comfortable doing that either, especially since my school would eventually find out anyway since I would need to go the hospital every couple months for medication. I am so glad I decided to apply anyway and be truthful about my condition. I think it would have also weighed on me that I was hiding something if I decided not to be.

I feel so calm watching this lol. I love the soft, neutral tones and minimalist design. A nice apartment indeed!
help, i accidentally fell in love with this apartment! the storage space is so efficiently designed for small space AND they look pretty too!!
Omg! You’re so adorable! LOVE the apartment tour, very modern and clean. Thanks for sharing 💕
I like the apartement so much, thats super comfy and literally my style, like the perfect apartment that i want it. Also the explanation of the apart so good, keep going 👍
Aww thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video 😊
I don’t normally watch these videos, but yours popped up in my feed. I enjoyed seeing your place and thought you did a great job laying out your tour. It makes me want to take your classes, because I’d bet you’re a clear and concise teacher! And I must say, you are so cute! Keep living well in SK!
Thank you so much! 😊
So cool! I wish someone who designs apartments in Korea would come re-do my house interiors for maximum efficiency 😂
A shower with the toilet was idea to rinse/clean down everything.
I’ve been obsessed with watching Asian apartment tours. I wish I could move to South Korea but I live in the US and can’t obviously do that easily or without regret lol.
"Without regret"? Why would you have regret?
Melanie Lovick-Lugo You know that South Korea isn’t all sunshine and rainbows right? Especially for foreigners that want to live there
True False yes, because the US is, right?😂😂😂
M B Of course not because we don’t live in an utopian world, however I can assure you that I would choose to live in the US over SK (if I had the opportunity to experience living in SK) especially with me being a black foreign female as well (this does not mean that I would not love to visit there; being a tourist and living there are two different experiences).
If there were just a ton of units like this everyone could have their own small place without it costing a small fortune!
what a cute place! I love that outer door and that it opens OUT with hidden hinges is a bonus!
"How much storage do you want?"
"Yes"
OMG a big clap up to the person who creates this apartment ! amazing ! soooo nice !!!
You have such a positive & friendly aura! Glad I bumped into your video.
Stay blessed!
Thank you so much! 😊
im already planning out my life alone in that room. ugh, I LOVE your apartment!!! thanks for the tour
That is a super effective and efficient living space layout and design for one person. Tons of storage and lots of natural light. Love it!
I just found your videos and I'm so excited. I'll be coming to korea in the fall to teach with EPIK. Your channel will be very helpful so thank you for documenting your experience!
I'm so glad! Teaching in Korea is an amazing experience 😊
This video made me look forward to going back as I also want to going into teaching.❤️
Aghh I miss korea so oooooo much ❤️
this apartment is sooo gorgeous!!!i love to see other houses from another countries,is a wonderfull experience!
Such a beautiful and luxury apartment I have ever have seen...
Stay safe..
Thank you so much!
Wow! The quality of this video is insane! Your b-roll pan footage are sooooooo good!
Thanks so much! 😊
I love how clean and sleek your apartment is. Wooow
This video gives me so much joy! Your apartment is lovely and the good energy that radiates off you is just ugh chef's kiss xx
You seem like the sweetest teacher ever omg
I never knew what people meant when they say they get a random recommended video that they loved!
But I get it now.
Your presence, your energy, your decoration/organization style, your vibe are GREAT:)
New subscriber 😁😁😁😁
Though the apartment is so small, love how they made it very efficient! Lot of storage space! Helps to keep it nice and organize. Very nice apartment :)
I watch so many Korean series and actually seeing you living just like them and the level of cleannnnnnnnnnn ooooooh my oooh my am in love with your chanel already...
That is the nicest officetel I have ever seen! My first place in Korea was in a nice house with a big yard. It was so nice. The second one was over a noribong, and it was so loud! And I had a wet room. It was so small. You lucked out!
Her personality is so bright and cheerful, Love it!
Wow you hit the jackpot with this gorgeous apt. Plus a washing machine, the best thing it is clutter free. Enjoy your time there glad I found this video will def subscribe now...........🤗🇨🇦
Thank you so much! 😊
I vote that we renovate every home and apartment in the U.S. to replicate the wizardry that South Korea has been using forever.
where is the living room with sofa
@@carolyngetchman4437 this is an "officetel" apt, "office+hotel". It's like a studio apt that has no living room and sofa due to its mini size
You know how much that’ll cost?! We cant even balance the government budget let alone upgrade our homes to never need keys again 😆 I mean, Hollywood’s elite has that crap but they ain’t sharing with us broke folks 🤣🤣
No thank you
Nope I would get co gusec and couldn't get in
Such a compact and organized apartment. I like the layout of the space.
Enjoyed the video, great job!
This apartment is so beautiful!!! You so clean an organization, I love it!
Thank you so much! 😊
@@taylerwithane hello sis. Ur so inspiring.. Iam from India.. I completed my graduation in engineering but i want to change my career in to teaching especially in Korea.. Do i stand a chance a chance as a non native speaker.. Plz guide me out 🙏🙏tq
That apartment has more storage space than mine which is more than twice the size. It just proves that the important thing is not how much space you have, but how you utilise it.
I k r! I have lots of space but am sooo disorganized. I long for a tiny apt. Moving toward minimalized ORGANIZED living space. I must downsize my clothing and kitchen. Too many things (furniture, clothing, pantry, dishes & items) that I truly don't even touch for months.
Woooww... I loved this video apartment tour. Very straight forward, amazing editing, and last but not least what a beautiful apartment!!! Congrats.
Good to see all the upgrades. Been 21 yrs since I was last there. Love it, thanks for sharing.
I love how articulate and organized when you do your tour. Nice place!!! 👍🏼
I'd put a lil couch on that spare wall where you lay the spare mattress down and turn it into a mini living area. It's so cute
I love this! Thanks for sharing. I also love that blouse you’re wearing and your hair. New subscriber, I’m interested to learn more about your experience in South Korea as a Black woman.
Love your apartment and wonderful to see South Korea valuing their teachers! ✨🧡✨
Wow! There are so many storage spaces in such a small apartment. It’s so compact and organised. Well-thought out floor plan. :)
The camera man is so GOOD at the job. i love it
This apartment is BEAUTIFUL!! I’m manifesting that I’ll get something like this later this year 🥰🥰 thank you for sharing!
Wow I really love this apartment tour thank you for your time ans bringing us into your home and sharing what its like living in Korea.
Very cool apartment. I love all the storage space. I also enjoyed your Disney ears shelf.
I love this video! I usually don’t like home tours but yours is so relaxing to watch. Your voice is so soothing. This is a great video. Thank you!
Thank you so much! 😊
Gorgeous apartment. So organized. Stay well and safe.
Saw this video on my recommended page and I am so happy I watched it. This is a beautifullllll apartment, I like that it has a lot of storage and how efficiently you have used the space!
