frankly there are certain degrees of racism any part of the world you go including Korea. However, have at least college degree, dress well, show your personal maturity by respecting others, then Korean people will like you and respect you more regardless of your race.

The best thing Korean government did was to implememt native speaking teachers curriculum in the public schools. Kids growing up these days have far better English pronounciation!
My class last year was the worse class ever existed in my school, they or we bully new teachers or trt and many ppl fight 3 times a month or more and they r so dramatic..
After having a really exhausting long day she is still smiling and laughing with the students ,they are really lucky to have her ,she should be a role model for others.

I was wanted to start my Korean language class and suddenly many videos came up in my phone about racism with black people and foreigners in Korea and many many bad things happen to foreigners in Korea , which breaked my heart sooo much , but I didn't loose hope and took my first class , it's really good to see you doing well and happy while teaching in Korea .. it encourages alot ..
