    I’ve got to say as a woman, listen to this man. I read his book the subtle art of not giving a fuck. I do not usually read self-help books but I bought it for someone and they didn’t want it. They told me “” you read it”!
    He’s right! Please listen to him. The book is good too!
    I work in the music industry. So I know a lot of musicians (and they would get the women) At one time I had a boyfriend in a popular band. Women, beautiful women would throw their selves at my boyfriend. They did not care that he had a girlfriend. He was quiet, vulnerable, introspective basically kind of weird. He actually did not care that much about women he treated me like a friend. Be vulnerable! Be yourself. Just don’t be a jerk.

Now these last years of my life I’m slowly discovering who I really am and what I really want of life. I want to give a big thank you to Mark Manson and all the guys who are involved in the self help sector( yes channel owner I’m looking at you), the mentorship is much appreciated. God bless

    One important thing he doesn't tell in book is how to keep it casual without deceiving women (hard point to his "Honesty" method). On one page he writes that AFTER SEX you decide in which type of relationship you two are: love, fuckbuddies, 1 night stand etc. On the other page he writes that he understands when he wants long term relationship with girl within few minutes talk with her. So natural question: if you're HONEST and after few minutes talk you understand that you only want unexclusive sex from her why don't you tell her?
    Does not add up Mark.

    I never put anyone on a pedestal. No dating coach is perfect and nobody has all the answers. A lot have really good advice though. I don’t agree with everything mark says but I’ve responded and been more successful on his advice than anyone else. Last Feb I was in a depression support group on Facebook and was having extreme suicidal thoughts. A woman reached out to me and we started talking, We hit it off so well and she’s gorgeous. We just have a connection nobody could understand and a great romantic relationship now. She met me at my most vulnerable. Some would say women find that unattractive and weak. Wrong. All women don’t. I’m doing so much better these days as we co regulate each other. I didn’t care how ppl would respond in the group, I was just bluntly honest

    Models is an interesting book, but I feel like what he's saying is "pickup" and looking for a girlfriend. This book makes me overly anxious and approaching women just seems desperate to me. Almost everyone meets their partners through friends/events. ive avoided girls since 2019 because I was told to "stop looking". Isnt what Mark is describing pretty much "looking for a girlfriend"?

    • @thequestion3953
      @thequestion3953 3 года назад +4

      I never give advice, but I feel like what you said is so wrong and so illogical that I have to say something. Approaching women isn't desperate. And even if it is, what other choice do you have? Your problem is you're trying to avoid feeling like a desperate loser by avoiding rejection, but by doing this you slowly become an actual desperate loser.
      Most average men that have multiple dating options, are the kind of men that are so comfortable approaching and do it so often, that they are no longer fazed by being rejected. That's it. Whether you think he's desperate or not doesn't really change that reality.
      You could wait to meet someone through friends, but you need to have a LOT of friends and/or you need to have a certain level of social status with these friends. If you're the kinda guy that can't even approach a girl, you're most likely the kind of guy that doesn't get women recommended to him by friends or acquaintances.
      And even at these "events" you speak of, you need to make the first move. Society is slowly becoming more enlightened and one day women will be as comfortable making the first move as men. But today, in 2021, if you want to get good at finding partners as a man you have to be comfortable making the first move. Unless you plan on becoming a famous musician or actor or social media personality.

      +Mai Bach Sir, I have no clue who you are, and you have no idea about me either. So, let's assume neither my life nor yours are pathetic. I was referring to the "life coach" (LOL) in this video. However, as the saying goes: if the shoe fits...

      +Mai Bach I have ZERO consideration for Mark Manson. He basically profits from taking advantage of people who are going through tough times and are led on to believe he "knows better". He really just uses his image of "cool dude" to turn some profit. Besides, he was highly disrespectful of the culture of some countries he has visited, portraying the classical "gringo superiority complex". So no; I have no respect or consideration for this man. I reaffirm: he is pathetic.

      +Giovanna Rozza I disagree. Mark Manson changed my life. I have never felt like he took advantage of my weaknesses or disrespected my country (In his open letter to Brazil post). Rather than exploiting my weaknesses, he made me understand why i felt them and guided me towards conquering some. It would be a problem if he was making money and his content was trash. But it's not, it adds immense value to people's lives. Idk if youve read Models yet, but if you havent, I urge you to do so. I hope it changes your mind and life, like it did mine.
