I have a question about letting go. So I've been going through these steps and I've seen results already. However, the same triggers come back after some time. Do I just keep letting go of the same thing time after time and it'll finally be gone/ not trigger me? Because that's what I'm aiming for.
I just discovered you January 2022. I watched the self esteem series so far, Your contents are practical, easy to follow and relatable with the normal individual like me. Thank you deeply!!
I just need to watch and listen to things like this and put in practice to start changing my life, my self-steem, my comunication, I lack self steem and i feel like in a hole. It is hard to show people i am ok when i am really broken and lost, i'm trying but i just wanna cry, it's a struggle everyday.
I felt like I needed to come back to this video to give constructive criticism. I watched this video when it first came out, and it basicaly shifted how I viewed meditation. But not in a way that was productive for me in the long run. After watching, I thought that what all meditation (breath awareness in my case) was doing for me, is helping me escape from my insecurities and everything I label as "unnacceptable" within me. I started thinking : "what's the point with meditating anyway ? Why should I bother concentrate on my breath if it's not bringing real and positive change within me ?" I had for 2 years a love/hate relationship with the practice. Despite doing your letting go technique many times, nothing changed either. However I feel grateful that I found this video, because it helped me see what meditation was really doing for me. I feel like this issue helped me develop true wisdom and know from experience that meditation is all I truly needed to deal with my shadow self and thus live a happy life. What I've found is that I do not need to consciously do something in order to "heal". I share your idea, that letting go is the key for true healing, but you can't just "let go". Because that ain't letting go. Letting go is about surrender and to stop trying. And in that sense, my meditation practice taught me that focusing on my breath is not only about focus or escapism. When I come back to my breath everytime I caught myself thinking, I'm letting go of the thought and at the same time, the narrative about me and my life tied to it. Over time I could observe myself and I started recognizing patterns about myself which brought suffering into my existence. And I stopped believing everything thought about me. Letting go of my thoughts gave room for my shadow self to show up, to be felt, heard and then released. In a way, I experienced everything you're talking about in this video, simply by focusing on my breath. If you're disciplined and meditate everyday for months/years, this letting go process is bound to happen sooner or later. So to each their own I guess. :)
Interesting. Letting Go did nothing for you? It changed my life over a couple years. Getting triggered and feeling the feelings definitely helps to release the trigger
I literally checked everyday since the last video for the final part to this series. You're a miracle and a blessing to many bro. Thank you for the making the world a more awesome place!
I'm understanding this thing men day after day of repeating these 4 videos. GOD bless you Julien. I'm watching this again and again till I understand it and even I have to see it even more than this to understand it more. This four part videos are very important and also its a better advice than many of the people out there like its even better than David Goggins, Andrew Tate and the like this people helped me to fight the guards but yes you are RIGHT it feels so much pain it demands so much effort it drives to burnout but when I heard you saying why are the guards there first that was a whole another bigger and better perspective and its like you said its effortless Thankyou very much Julien really really.
this video series is highly underrated&underwatched i sent these to some of my close friends, they said they will watch it immediately but whenever i just ask them they just procrastinate it.I just don't understand it, the solution to all your problems is in front of you and you just continue to be sad.Julien do yo know why is that? P.s. i also wanna thank you and Owen for your great stuff when i will get a good amount of money i'm definetly buying mentorship from you guys.Because in Turkey economy is pretty f*cked up but i won't stop until i give my best in these circumstances
Unfortunately, although they may say it, most people do NOT want help... They would much rather stay in whatever comfort zone they're in, rather than challenging it with videos like this.
I am not actually interested in what you say (I gradually came to that myself, working hard on becoming Best Version of MySelf)... I am interested in HOW YOU MOVE! WOW!!! I am so happy that I subscribed to your channel straight away when I saw your advert !!! I’ve subscribed to the freedom of your movements, that comes from the freedom of your mind. ( ПОФИГИЗМ in Russian.) I love it and want to adopt it. The challenge is, that I am a woman, so I need to combine it, somehow, with being VERY feminine at the same time😸💃🏼 💃🏼💃🏼
I can't smoke pot anymore because it brings this subconscious awareness to the forefront.. It's a reminder of what you deep down feel, but don't want to deal with. Meditation does the same thing.
@@juancho1871 Yeah i've found the worse im doing mentally, the weed makes me more anxious about it, or maybe just makes me realize my problems more. One of the two
A culmination of a profound journey giving rise to the beginning of a beautiful one. The transmutation of the Pupa. Much love and heartfelt gratitude Julien. 🙏
I used to watch you back in your RSD days and came across this series and because of it I’m subscribed again💯 some really good info on digging deep into the root causes of someone’s self esteem and figuring out how to basically rewire your brain! I could only imagine hiring you as a mentor, you have a great perspective on life🤙
The meditation video is private now! Can you please put it back? I have been watching every week since the day you posted... Its really helpfull. Thanks Julien
Again brilliant these last two videos. Actually what I needed. I woke up this morning and was going to comment on Aaron Daughty’s video saying but how do you let go. And yesterday Russel Brand uploaded his three best books for awakening or something, or letting go even, and one was called Letting Go by Dr David R Hawkins, who many in this community would have heard of.... so I was like right maybe I’ll give that a blast. Abs I was gonna download it on audible then saw this. - but yes, this shining a light process is what I needed. The holding space and acknowledging what is coming up and going on on subtle levels is exactly it. I remember 4 years ago now. When I really nailed this in last time and had profound moments of bliss and or freedom and AH IT WAS SO EASY ALL ALONG. And actually manifested NON LOGICALLY weird events to prove the shift and also just how attraction is real af too, not just in the practical sense. But Julien. I have a question. I know you mentioned in this video about take action, get triggered, let go. So that kinda answers my question. But with all this talk of take massive action. Or like you know people who are not taking action are deemed as procrastinators and stuff, what would you say to when someone knows they’re operating from a trauma state etc, I mean of course we all are, but what if they know things are working out by not taking action, or like they are addressing things internally etc, would you still say must take action. Cause sometimes you know there isn’t really an action to take other than the action of stop distracting yourself and work through your shit. I guess I answered it too. Long message sorry. Haha
Julien you are the absolut KING! Thank you so much I got so happy again after hard times and there is just one reason why! Because of the Person who made this video 😉👍🏻
I really appreciate this content. You say things that I feel like no one else would've said. That manifestation thing is helpful. The diving headfirst is helpful. I knew that already, I'm just clinging to my comfort zone, which I hate doing, but.. Anyways, keep making content. I'll make it out of my darkness eventually.
Hey man you recommended me here. I was wondering if you could ever do a vid on the camera guys perspective? I saw a camera guy in the intro b roll and just wondered if the same way the videos help the watchers they help the camera guy too. Like in the middle of filming is he having his own revelations and some aha moments too. What are some takeaways from the camera guys. I think it’d make a good video
Hi Julian, I love all the content and it's had a tremendous impact on my thought patterns. Could you point me to a video going over the more technical science behind what feeling the sensations does mechanically?
Thanks for even putting your meditation for free out here, just struggling a bit with focusing on the breath commands and tuning in to my sensations, think that takes practice till I can do that properly
Interestingly enough, vipassana uses a concentration meditation in the beginning, so that later you can perform an awareness meditation where you scan for sensations in your body. As sensations are experienced, emotions come up, and pass away. Never be stuck in an emotion, just witness it. I wonder what's your take on this(vipassana) kind of meditation. It's as it was originally taught by the buddha, and they dont quite tell you to bring awareness to the emotion. Seems like vipasanna is a more shotgun approach
Great series, but one thing that wasn’t fully clear to me is when exactly we should do the meditation exercise. From this video it sounded like we should do it whenever the uncomfortable situation/emotions arise. Or did I get it wrong? On the other hand the mediation video is 25 minutes long and should probably be used daily? So I’m curious when exactly we should meditate. Just a quick breathing exercise whenever the emotions arise, or daily for 25 minutes, or both?

This reminds me of Jung's teachings of "integrating the shadow". Can you give a brief comment on whether or not it's the same thing?
