It’s very strange same thing goes for that power sliding window as well. It’s not standard anymore. I have no idea why they did this. Actually I do No, why the almighty dollar thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great week.
It's unfortunate to see Toyota miss so hard on the pricing. Hopefully things will improve. I drove a TRD Sport. The power is more than enough, and the ride was very nice. Not paying $50,000 though. Not a chance.....
I hear you, my friend. The price is definitely out of control. Thanks for the reply in the feedback. I think it drives good to hopefully will start to see some discounts soon or some bigger ones. Have a great week my friend.
50k SR5 with cloth manual seats, small screens, 278hp 4 cylinder, assembled entirely in Mexico for pennies on the dollar. Toyota has officially lost the plot.
They are discounting the Tundra's, they will eventually have to discount the Tacoma's. They just got used to be able to charge whatever they wanted during the pandemic. They're going to have to price realistically again.
Call me crazy but i remember not to long ago a mid level tacoma was 30-35 k. Now its 42-50. No thank you for a truck that really cant do truck things like tow mire then 6500 pounds for the fully loaded one

If you want a halfway decent Tacoma now it’s gonna be $50,000 for sure thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. This is the reason why I'm not touching one of these new Tacomas. I started looking at the new Nissan Frontier Pro-4x, which has a naturally aspirated V6 and a 9 speed automatic. The new Tundras with the turbos are having bad reviews and reliability issues.

There’s something weird going on with these trucks.. they’re too oddly configured. Isn't anyone concerned about turbo longevity. It's not just price. Cars and trucks with turbos, especially four cylinder turbo trucks have extra durability problems, compensated by higher price!!
I agree, I can see a small car using a turbo if you keep your foot off of it but a truck?? That’s going to put a lot of strain on a small engine
I saw one on the road today, second one I've seen since they came out. Toyota seems to be getting them out a lot faster than Ford did with the Ranger and Chevy did with the Colorado.
Those airdams are ridiculously huge
"Blurple" should be an OEM Color Code
They need to can the people that has came up with the new design for their pickup line
A V4 and turbo... nope!
It’s the future lol 😆
Not exactly flying off the lots
They are not ! People have definitely been checking them out, though everyone is trying to get a feel for them right now. Lots of test drives. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend.
The little fabric buckle to hold up the backseat is disgusting. And no more hard plastic on the backside of the backseats for protection... Toyota cut costs right in your face and is still charging 10k more 🤡
They seem to be selling all the Gen 5 4Runners where I live in Minnesota.
Exactly. This dealership is selling a lot of 4Runners as well. I got one of those videos coming next. Pretty sure the next generation 4Runner will be pretty expensive. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend.
realy expensive way way too much after taxes 53000 thousand then insurance and Gas and interest on the amount wow pushed me right out of the market there is no point going to any toyota dealer for crazy sticker prices for this fancy let down strip truck you need 30 thousand down cash to get into it maybe wow top 5 percent everyone cant do it. dissapointing.
Exactly well said my friend your spot on ! Hopefully these prices will come down and interest rates will come down, and these dealerships will go back to nobody paying the sticker price. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel. Have a great week my friend.
SR5 is $48,000-no! That’s a $31,000 truck with $3,000 in total possible options.
Nah, my 2005 SR5 4x4 was $28k
@@deplorablechump8758 At that price in 2005 you over paid, even with every conceivable option available at the time. $25,280 was the top of the line in 2005! SR5 is a low trim level now. My loaded 2016 TRD OR DC long bed was $36,400.
Damm let me see if my bro want to pitch in we both can own it or ask my other brother too. 3way payment
Lol 😂 right lol 😂 good one ☝️
These prices are laughable. And I know this is subjective, but I don't even like the styling of these new Tacomas. They don't seem like they'll age well. I Like the third-generation better in every way. It's just my opinion. However, the pricing is objectively terrible...lol.
The front is way btr than anything before it
@@Skwid-Lives It looks like a 3rd gen with an eBay body kit. It's almost as it Toyota wanted to make it obvious that they cut costs all over the new truck but are still charging you more.
@@Skwid-Lives That's subjective, but I'm glad you like it.
looks unsellableat 50 k maybe 30 k
I know right
Garbage of an engine and north of 50k for a trd sport pass!!!👉
I hear you my friend!
🙃$50k for a 4cylinder turbo non fully loaded. Just get a 5th gen 4Runner. Plus what ever problems it’s going to have.
turbo 4 blows on trucks and SUVs
Yeah you don’t think it will be a good fit !!
There is so much BS misinformation going on it’s hilarious😂😂😂. RUclips is NOT a news source.
Ship to San diego.. lines of people paying big money.... cash deals all day long!
Dummies. People in CA pay a lot of money for cars because they’re 3 generations deep in one house. Can’t buy a home, so ball out on overpriced cars. Sad.
Yeah idk where this guy is at but I’ve been seeing they fly off lot here in SoCal
They are $10,000 tooooo much. Its not worth it.
I hear you my friend
I don’t like how it looks and the price is just insane.
So it’s definitely a no for you lol I like how it looks. The price is the worst lol 😆 thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a good evening.
Where’s this at? Most Tacomas don’t even make it to the lot in Florida
Wilsonville Toyota in Oregon
Agreed. They don’t make it to the lot in Western Kentucky.
Too expensive for what you get. I would be interested in an underground off-road to replace my 2023, but I’m not paying 50k to have manually seats.
That would be an epic downgrade
Cheap quality and overpriced. Not surprised they’re not selling. Unfortunately the new 4Runner will probably suffer the same fate
Might as well just get a Tundra. These prices are ridiculous
Put that money towards a cybertruck 😏 .
At these price point!
A tundra is a better deal.
With 5k-10k off on new tundras in Oregon.
You could be around 50k or less for a new tundra.
More towing power and payload.
Not seeing the benefits?
More money for less truck if that’s a benefit i guess 😂
Also they look the same kinda..
50K. Wow what a deal. Yeah sure Skooter
The tundras has lots of issues that's why they are so cheap. Get the V8 F150
I think that every new truck is overpriced and dealerships really showed there true colors and now people hate them like people hate cops .
Yup!
You can get a very well equiped Ranger XLT for $45,000 any similar equipped Tacoma is well over $50,000
@@jeffk464 Yup ranger will mip the floor with the taco
I'M SO GLAD THEY'RE JUST SITTING THERE. I LOVE TOYOTA, I OWN A 3RD GEN TRD SPORT TACOMA, GOT IT BRAND NEW FOR 36K. I WOULD NOT PAY 55K FOR A NEW ONE.. FUK THAT. STAY AWAY FROM THEM GUYS. THAT'S THE ONLY WAY THEY'RE GONNA LOWER THE PRICE
Don't want no stinkin' 4 cylinder!
Maybe people are waiting for the hybrids thus the current ones aren’t selling fast
People are going to be disappointed. No increase in mpg but costs another $5k
I'm starting to hate Toyota :(
SR5, 4cyc turbo built in Mexico 48K I initially said no way, but with a $250 discount I can't refuse.
LOL
Engines built in alabama thoo
