This should be way too ostentacious for my tastes but its actually awesome. I dont think id ever be able to wear it without feeling a little ridiculous but its stunning.
They should not have used a red crescent for the date. A red tipped straight hand would have been fine. Not sure about the durability of ceramic case watches. Omega could have done better than a leather strap.
Thing about that kind of watch is that it's very cool and on trend right now, but will you want to be strapping that on your wrist in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years? I don't think so. The classic Speedmaster is timeless, whereas this version is transitory IMO.
Swiss watches bore me to death. They have been making same old stuff for ages now with little or no real innovation. Just change case color. Change dial color. Change strap. Give a new fancy name to material used. 15000 for something that looks 99% identical to every other Omeda out there?

The Zodiac white ceramic appeared to be ceramic cap over a steel core. Is Omega ceramic "better" thereby not needing a "core" of metal?
