I already have a PO and the World Timer. Got to test-fit one for future reference-purchasing, and it obviously wore much more comfortably and thinner. Will obtain one within the year or two. As much as I loved the leather, I'm seriously thinking about going rubber strap. Great close-up review!

I walked into the omega store on Friday with my friend and he was looking at the world time, while I saw this piece. He walked out with the world time and I walked out with this. They both look lovely side by side
There are two Speedmasters on my grail list. This one and the Dark Side of the Moon Apollo 8 (also in ceramic). The one thing I wish they'd done is made ceramic bracelets for them. Bulgari and Panerai manage it. I'm sure it would have been en expensive option, but you're already paying 2-3X what a regular Speedy is going for.
Unless you're against animals being farmed for it, then why not add a contrasting colored exotic leather strap? Double-quill ostrich, alligator/crocodile or stingray look great & any jeweler can fit expertly for you.
That's one of the coolest looking dials I've seen. It just looks too big though, and it's got that big thick leather strap too. I feel like it wouldn't look right unless you had a huge wrist. But if they could put that dial on a smaller watch with a different strap it could be perfect
@@ShaunKVideos Didn't say that he got the details right, I said that he showed it off properly. Just like some of the big name channels on here for cars, some of them miss the mark. Just like one of them saying that the gold moon on this is etched instead of hand engraved. I just like the video mate.
@@shaq6772 it's so light that you don't notice the size at all. It is thick but it really doesn't bother me. My wrist are large (19.5ish cm) so it wears fine.
Agreed. A bracelet version would have been insane. Not a huge fan of the bracelet either, except the clasp. some cordura would have been better maybe.... and a bracelet would have been perfect.
A very nice watch, but too thick. Omega appears to have started to take strides to make their watches thinner (e.g., the new Moonwatch), which is promising. Something about this watch that is a subtle and underrated improvement over the standard Moonwatch is the use of chronograph mono-counters. They make for a more efficient use of space and a better dial aesthetic, and are in many cases more readable than single-measurement counters.
The new moon watch is a manual wind and no date. Those two factors saves thickness. All of their other master coaxial movements have a date and a rotor. So I would not consider the new moon watch any indication of the brand thinning their watches.
Here we go again. The beat rate is 28,800 and not 25,200 as you described. Are you ok? That’s the 4th review at least that I’ve seen where you got the beat rate wrong. How is that even possible?

Correction* the Gold moon on this one is hand engraved, not laser ablated. Same with the 18k Yellow and Sedna variants of this watch.
Omega should do a full ceramic Speedmaster just just AP Royal Oak Ceramic. It would look great !
Love this watch, but 17mm thick is too much for me. Even 15mm watches are though to wear with everything on that short sleeves.
