This music played in the Deathknight Wing of Vanilla Naxxramas and in the Military Quarter in the Wrath iteration. I remember first hearing this music while doing a fun run at level 70 years ago. The place still required you to be on your toes even then. Gothik the Harvester threw us for a loop!

Old Naxx, at the time, was one of the few truly difficult, scary, but rewarding Endgame type instances. Everquest had some things, yes, but Naxx was simply so massive with such interesting mechanics. When they remade it the industry, and players, were used to that sort of thing. Plus loot didn't have much meaning. Corrupted Ashbringer was an EPIC epic. Now epics are just... epics. Nothing epic about them except they are purple.
when i first saw patchwerk..walking slowly..towards the raid...he turned sharply..ran to me while saying.."PATCHWERK WANT TO PLAY"!..i was like...holy shit!..wiped!..level 60 naxx...in vanilla wow:)
Hello, I am a fellow Wrath veteran who is NOT going to bitch about which expansion is the best/worst and post a comment stating what how fun Naxxramas was and how fitting the music is.
Sharp ears! your are right. it's composed by the same person: Matt Uelmen. He is also the man behind diablo 1 and diablo 2 music. Little trivia, did you know that this music and his music for burning crusade was the music he composed for the original version of diablo 3 before being scrapped by blizzard?
7:00-8:00 ,, wow has " well used to have " some of the best video game music ever created blizzard is slacking now , the first wow was amazing the burning crusade was awsome , but after that its just not the same
i hate how blizz moved nax to notherand, they shouldve just got rid of that rediculous quest chain to get in and just keep it in eastern plaguelands :(
complain, complain, complain about how X current expansion is not better than Y but you'll miss WotLK in a year...and you'll be bitching about cata, and if you don't like WotLK so much then why continue playing it.

Reminds me of how insanely brutal naxx 40 was....and I loved it
Yeah that place was tough! 4h alone was a bigger learning curve than any other entire raid instance combined (except for maybe Sunwell).
Absolutely brutal, horrifying.
I find this relaxing
The horrors that lied in that instance.. somehow managed to disappear come Wrath. :L
What was waiting in there at 60 was horrific
when i first saw patchwerk..walking slowly..towards the raid...he turned sharply..ran to me while saying.."PATCHWERK WANT TO PLAY"!..i was like...holy shit!..wiped!..level 60 naxx...in vanilla wow:)
2:48 is when it gets epic
8:45 for me, the feeling of coming face to face with what was in there waiting for you...
ro11age actually this music is pre-BC and is extremely fitting for the location
sounds like a horror movie

@TwilightCreep That's because Hellfire and SMV used portions of this music in their zones. They came after Naxx did.
naxxramas: BEST DUNGEON ON EARTH
3:20 the best moment of this EPIC powerfulll song !!
Naxxramas was one of the few raids I actually enjoyed in Wotlk. Still, Naxx back in 60 was da sheit!

I loved this track.
Why couldn't the Scourge theme in WOTLK be anything like it? :/
Best way to tell if a PuG is worth anything IMO.
first music is creepy
Favorite part starts at 6:58
This guy knows...
this reminds me of smv or hellfire :S
Was the first portion of this music ever used in Naxxramas?

@heroofwinds9 i think that's what it's supposed to represent ;)
