Sometimes when i play World of Warcraft, i get so amazed by the music and surrouding I stop and just listen, some may argue its just a game, but to the people who have played or play it its something more, it allows us to keep all our problems to one side and just enjoy a world with no limitations or problems.
Do you all feel the pure air? Like the leaves are falling down from the trees... you can even imagine that the water is slipping down silently to the ground. The birds are flying around the trees. And the crystals are connect with each other and if you touch them, they can make such a beautiful song. That wonderful is this world. The WoW's world only, and not our world. It's a pity. Glory to the Sin'dorei! Eulywood
i remember when the expansion came out, and i went here. it was amazing. i miss the old wow, but i cherish the new one, too. it has come so far in the years.
Back in WoTLK my cousin and I had a hangout spot that was the river and little pond in this zone under Dalaran. We'd just talk and fuck around, good times...
0:00 - 1:45 Anywhere around Crystalsong Forest 1:45 - 3:10 Blue Dragonflight Area 3:10 - 4:15 The Great Tree 4:15 - 6:00 Night Elf Ruins 6:00 - 7:35 Forlorn Woods
Reminds me of the tree-area in the Thousand Year Door when you first go there; the trees are all white and the ground is this holographic sort of pattern.
4:58... i can imagine myself flying around in a world where you have a vast forest made of trees, plants, and all various creatures that have a purplish color and are also gleaming in a unique way, as if they are made from a certain type of crystal... just magical
The most unique looking zone... I never thought pink trees could look so serene and beautiful, wow. And the calming, relaxing music is just perfect. I'm glad they never really touched this place, I believe it would have destroyed the calmness it contains :)
Imo the most beautiful place in Wotlk, this area and the meditative music, which somehow activates positive energies in my body. Music like this is for lack of a better description, godly.
the thing that makes me so sad while listening to this is that as a wow player, you have so many memories from each expansion, and knowing that it will never come back (unless they make legacy servers) is just more sad
Yep, it's nice that they're now making legacy servers to reexperience the content as it was, but it can never replicate that spark and magic of experiencing it for the very first time.
This and the exodar music are so peaceful and brilliant, I just sit and listen with my characters sometimes... same in Tanaris! Luckily I have some on my Ipod! so peaceful nights for me ;) and WoW induced dreams too!
@Wolfgears I feel like you're the kind of person who goes to these peaceful videos and tries to articulate yourself just for the sake of positive feedback and satisfaction of your "I tried too hard" poetry.
Because of this soundtrack I logged back onto battle (net) to reestablish my account, just to go roam these beautiful areas, only to find out my account has been hacked and banned :(
I love this zone, my most favoritest zone in the worlf of warcraft.. Makes me feel small, peaceful.. and makes me think about everything in this world and why nobody should be angry.
What was the point of this zone? It held dalaran but outside of that the only purpose was a few quests from icecrown. This zone has so much potential. They spent a lot of time creating this beautiful zone but no quests.
If i remember right it was originally intended to hold the crusader raid zone/dailies, but dalaran itself was such a laggy monster they had to put it up in icecrown. Really shameful to. wotk had so much potential wasted,
There were a few quests, mostly to come down from Icecrown and Storm Peaks and do a few things here. It wasn't much, though, and not a lot of people I know spent any time at all in the zone. It would have been cool indeed to have all the Crusader stuff here, but it probably wouldn't have worked too well unless Blizz developed it from the very beginning. Still my favorite zone.
it held Dalaran and maybe that's all it was destined to do. maybe the land under the city was supposed to be peaceful, not full of ppl doing stuff and fighting.
i remember the first time i saw crystalsong forest, i literally had to double take because i couldn't believe it was so pretty. Shame it's practically empty though, would have loved to have quested there.
It makes me so sad knowing that this zone never really got as much love as The Storm Peaks, and Grizzly Hills. With a questline of some sort, this would probably have ended up as one of the best zones ever. Although, sometimes it's better to just have a simple, empty zone of magnificent beauty and combined with an absolutely marvelous soundtrack.
The magical trees and the music storngly remind me of Boggly Woods from Paper Mario: The thousand-year door. Is it based off it or a coincidence?=) Wotlk had amazing music, this, Zul'drak and storm peaks especially.
@Mcyoussef Not just you...something's up with the vid. It's kind of flickering. Leaves the impression the trees are swaying. If this was intentional I'd say the author is pretty damn genius.
Howling Fjord& Crystal song Forest best song tracks cant stop listening cant stop coming back .............so beautiful : / cant stop coming back CANT!!!!! o\_/o i love it best music in a game 5 * stars *,..,*
@ilovedraconian Same thing I did for my blood elf hunter in Eversong Woods! Except I had to just stop listening and attack something for a quest. Hey, a blood elf's got to level when a blood elf's got to level :)
Ironic its the most unvisited zone in Wotlk, when i saw the glowing trees in the pictures before Wotlk came out i thought it was gonna be a huge zone but turns out it wasnt :(
@TheSofel Although it is true that they never used it for anything, blizzard still made damn good music for it, just goes to show how much work they "used" to put in to WoW.
its sad that zones as unique as this one are doomed to remain practically empty. As such is the fate to the majority of zones, the fact that the leveling process is so rushed that you barely get a glimpse of such things leveling up, what a shame.
the OST of C.song isnt my favourite but i remember the first time i saw one of those big crystal trees i almost had a heart attack....even today, this magically-altered forest is my favourite place in all azeroth and outland :P I do prefer the OST of howling fjord tho....such a peaceful, refreshing, tranquil place...very nice...
After I die, I hope I wake up here.
are u still alive ?
Only after you signed your last will with my name on it....i hope you aren't a homeless :D
@@itonsohigh1206 Yes
@@sandorzador2802 XD
We will
Really sad that this was never used more. Such a gorgeous zone - reminded me of Secret of Mana!
Sometimes when i play World of Warcraft, i get so amazed by the music and surrouding I stop and just listen, some may argue its just a game, but to the people who have played or play it its something more, it allows us to keep all our problems to one side and just enjoy a world with no limitations or problems.
God damn, when Wotlk got it right, they got it right
i still pass from there cause i like farming nax once in a while
Do you all feel the pure air? Like the leaves are falling down from the trees... you can even imagine that the water is slipping down silently to the ground. The birds are flying around the trees. And the crystals are connect with each other and if you touch them, they can make such a beautiful song. That wonderful is this world. The WoW's world only, and not our world. It's a pity. Eulywood
Best zone in all of WoTLK and the least utilized one... thanks Dalaran!
cry
i remember when the expansion came out, and i went here. it was amazing. i miss the old wow, but i cherish the new one, too. it has come so far in the years.
very good studying music for concentration
Beautiful place with very nice music

the past (wowmusicguru) and the future (yodragon)
Best zone in WOW in my humble opinion.
This kind of reminds me of the game I use to play "paper Mario" the original, it feels like I'm listening to chapter 7 and the star world.
I remember flying down here levelling my unarmed skill just before they removed skills from the game.
i like to return in this zone sometime and sit in the ruin for a few minute or hour just for listen this music and comtemplate the landscape.
The most unique looking zone... I never thought pink trees could look so serene and beautiful, wow. And the calming, relaxing music is just perfect. I'm glad they never really touched this place, I believe it would have destroyed the calmness it contains :)
Almost cried... almost.
+Jontedanjo and also, just memories from learning the game that you won't be able to go back to because they were unique to your naiivity of the game
> legacy servers
**breathing intensifies**
Private servers
I think Re-Wotlk on it’s way brother, Cheers!
Yep, it's nice that they're now making legacy servers to reexperience the content as it was, but it can never replicate that spark and magic of experiencing it for the very first time.
cataclysm also gave us mount hyjal, one of the most beautiful zones in azeroth
This is the kind of music that needs to be held within the future!!!!!!!!
This and the exodar music are so peaceful and brilliant, I just sit and listen with my characters sometimes... same in Tanaris!
Luckily I have some on my Ipod! so peaceful nights for me ;)
and WoW induced dreams too!
@schpex You are spot on there. it has the subtle howling wind in the background and the "crystally" twinkles.
I was doing my homework on crystals an listening to this and it is very nice to listen to and it makes me what's the word calm
The world under Dalaran
This place is pure beauty, an oasis of peace.
3:14-4:10 is my favorite part
Katelyn Dwire Definitely! Sounds kind of gloomy and like from another world to me
it definitely makes the song for me
absolutely gorgeous. I almost fall asleep everytime i'm here.
@lastplacewin I feel you bro. Been nearly 3 years.. Played a bit when WotLK came out. Still come back to listen to these. Awesome stuff.
@Wolfgears
I feel like you're the kind of person who goes to these peaceful videos and tries to articulate yourself just for the sake of positive feedback and satisfaction of your "I tried too hard" poetry.
this reminds me of the music they play as you walk through the wait line for space mountain at disney
This is the best music out of any of the expansions. I would sit in Crystalsong when I queued for BGs just to listen to this music.
This place is so pretty. I genuinely love it. I am going there when I get to be that level.
This music is so peaceful, could fall asleep to it
oh so pretty, definately liking the crystals clanking against each other sound
Most beautiful place and music in the whole game, good job blizz.
the music makes me want to cry cause of all of those memories from wotlk :(
It reminds me always when i started WoW and i got 80 with my DK ;) i flew around Dalaran and heared that music...it was so amazing.
It's snowing where I am now, this music seems to go perfectly. :o
Because of this soundtrack I logged back onto battle (net) to reestablish my account, just to go roam these beautiful areas, only to find out my account has been hacked and banned :(
i want to go back into this world..but i cant stop-its like another dimension..
I love this zone, my most favoritest zone in the worlf of warcraft.. Makes me feel small, peaceful.. and makes me think about everything in this world and why nobody should be angry.
I remember flying to the horde town in Crystalsong and just listening to this music and queuing for bgs for hours.
Nearly 8 months since I've played and I come back to these videos. Why on earth do I do this to myself? -_-
What was the point of this zone? It held dalaran but outside of that the only purpose was a few quests from icecrown. This zone has so much potential. They spent a lot of time creating this beautiful zone but no quests.
you musn't have done all the quests in wotlk then, because i remember questing in this zone, not many quests i admit but still...
If i remember right it was originally intended to hold the crusader raid zone/dailies, but dalaran itself was such a laggy monster they had to put it up in icecrown. Really shameful to. wotk had so much potential wasted,

3:17 is haunting
I absolutly love being here!!!!!!!!
feeling like I'm in a mystical void somewhere in the universe and watching countless galaxies with eternal.
such calming and beautiful music. shame there isnt much quests there.
dude holy shit, perfect for a trip with sally! perfect length, and sounds... xD and im damn sure this would be gd when on bhang!
Some of the best tunes ever made...
i remember the first time i saw crystalsong forest, i literally had to double take because i couldn't believe it was so pretty. Shame it's practically empty though, would have loved to have quested there.

Wise words to suit the beautiful song. :)
this is the most nice and beautiful music in wow
We was watching this totally stoned and we where convinced that the picture was moving....
I think it's nice that it's unmarred by a bigass tournament zone. It gives it all the more sense of a peaceful, isolated world
Shame this zone was never truly used. The only zone that had that spark of imagination that BC had.
it's how you look at them at the time. feel da vibe mon !
Es lo mejor recuerdo subía de nivel mi paladín retry en linch king 3.3.3 cuando era niño los 11 años de edad mi infancia está en este juego
Without a doubt, the most beautiful zone in the game. A shame that it was never put to its full potential. Such an incredible landscape.
Really Beautiful ^-^ WoW forever :DD
AWESOMENESS! Now you just have to make the music you get in Darnassus when you push shift-m....
Quite possibly some of the best music in WoW . . .
I am from Bulgaria and I agree with goggleman57 :) I love nature music
It sucks that Blizzard never really did anything with this zone.
coz this was a transition zone. Chill and fly.
this music almost made me fall asleep...
awesome channel, i like every songs, i miss wow :( (sorry my bad english)
I remember doing the cooking daily here to pick carrots
Yes! Look up Isaio Tomita's 'Claire De Lune' :)
The magical trees and the music storngly remind me of Boggly Woods from Paper Mario: The thousand-year door. Is it based off it or a coincidence?=)
Wotlk had amazing music, this, Zul'drak and storm peaks especially.
Ah the hours spent in crystalsong farming soul shards for naxx.
@kavonm your right, it does sound like that song.
crystalsong is so beautiful zone ^.^
@Mcyoussef
Not just you...something's up with the vid. It's kind of flickering. Leaves the impression the trees are swaying. If this was intentional I'd say the author is pretty damn genius.
This is my second favorite zone out of all of them.
Too bad there's not a whole lot of quests relating to this zone. They need to fix that :C
I know i just will occasionaly fly over Dal
to crystalsong and listen to the music here on my drood ^_^
The scenery is nothing without music.
Howling Fjord& Crystal song Forest best song tracks cant stop listening cant stop coming back .............so beautiful : / cant stop coming back CANT!!!!! o\_/o i love it best music in a game 5 * stars *,..,*
@raedenjay they DO move; the picture is changing: the edges get sharper and then back to the normal or reverse I cant really tell.
@DralosVos Agreed. The music's got such a big atmosphere. Too bad the size of the zone doesn't compensate to that.
@ilovedraconian Same thing I did for my blood elf hunter in Eversong Woods! Except I had to just stop listening and attack something for a quest. Hey, a blood elf's got to level when a blood elf's got to level :)
Ironic its the most unvisited zone in Wotlk, when i saw the glowing trees in the pictures before Wotlk came out i thought it was gonna be a huge zone but turns out it wasnt :(
Shit makes me pass out every single time
this song makes me feel like i'm with my dog again her name was crystal and she was so peacful
@DepravedNemesis 146 people didn't find the teleporter to dalaran, so they were stuck with this awesome music!*
@DepravedNemesis LOL ya i didnt find the first time i got to crystalsong woods but i realy like this music
Trippy as hell.
@TheMatthewashwood That's exactly how I feel. No problems. It's like a haven away from drama.
Parts of this really really remind me of the "Ice temple" from The Legend of Zelda OoT
@TheSofel Although it is true that they never used it for anything, blizzard still made damn good music for it, just goes to show how much work they "used" to put in to WoW.
@lastplacewin and @daean80
been a year and a half since i stopped playing and yet i listen to the music for the epic times i had
@restoele
Doesn't sound weird. Matter of fact that's probably the perfect description for this music.
its sad that zones as unique as this one are doomed to remain practically empty.
@restoele That is exactly what Dalaran does all day.. float around a bit on this tune^^ Wish I was Dala:P
@LunarTranquility Any chance of linking the site?
@lopido Yes, it is... perfect..
