- The final mix of Hot Wheels Car Culture in 2018 is making its way to stores, and here is a quick look. More importantly, a look at the origins of the Drag Strip Demons.
yep 2009 and 2010 drag strip demons are all going up 20 bucks now that lamley group did a feature. thanks lamley group :-P
Preach !!!
yomek Piecemaker haha
Is true yo. Look it up on eBay
Kerry Bray yep i was buying those 2009, 2010 drag strip demons on ebay for 8,9 bucks a couple years ago. now you cant find one under 20 lol
If you work more than 40 hrs a week and get home in the evening , plan on not finding these . The scalpers and insiders ruined this hobby . In a few years HW collecting will be half of what it is today .
He's right i want to go to walmart and find cars and when i do i find empty boxs that others have went through and now ive waited for them to hit shelves and oh they have but every box at every store in my toy was raped by a customer. Hows this fair when i wait. Oh mayb buy it on ebay oh wait wait my toy is 30 bux? What? Now i can't even have it cuz these people r ruining it.
its even worse over here in Canada. :(
It already is lol
I gave up on finding certain cars due to inflated after market prices, peace.
I remember watching the AFXers race down the track at Irwindale Raceway Irwindale, Calif. These Gassers and AFX Hot Wheels cars are just so amazing. Thumbs up 👍 🏁
The Coronet is straight fire 🔥🔥
The RLC Car Culture Set got me into these cars especially with the 65 Mercury Comet Cyclone in purple. In my opinion, that was the best one of the 5 in the exclusive car culture set. Definitely look forward to enhancing the collection with this release.
I am so pumped for this. The only one in the lot i am not looking forward to is the '55 Chevy Gasser. It is great and all but come on! Give it a rest already. There are so many amazing castings from the original Dragstrip Demons series that could have taken its place.
hotwheels definitely has to add the 64 chevelle to this line
Awesome Drag Strip Demons You Reviewed Congrats Thumbs Up. I will be on the Hunt for All 5 of Those Thumbs Up.
I like all of these but the Chevy Super Nova and the Landy's Dodge Coronet are the coolest of the bunch. I think the new 'Dragstrip Demons' set will make these really popular again. And to think these were peg warmers! Thanks for showing these!
Do we over in Europe get Car Culture stuff? I have not seen any
A f x means altered factory experimental which was a thing from 1960 through almost 1967
Beautiful castings. I'm hoping to find the new wave once it hits my area. Awesome video
Not a big fan of Gassers, but that Super Nova casting is such a beauty! I'm gonna have to hunt all of those down, so beautiful
Relest in 2009. Speed machines and Drqg strip demons, more. I feel this set is not alone.
Have many of these, these should had been marketed slow. They still release these in batches and sometimes it takes awhile to really appreciate for some. These were some great great representations of the times. I never understood why Mattel didn't do a Muscle Car/Hot Rod premium series. There were some but some of the recent stuff they have released. 67 Charger, Barracuda, 72 Camaro. There are many premium 67 Camaros How about an Iroc Premium. I could go on and on there are many things Hot Wheels could do but for some reason they recycle over and over. 62 Nova wagon has been in so many premium lines but the deco except for the $TH are down right awful. Parents aren't buying these premium lines for kids to play with. especially at $5+ bucks a pop. Also think they should release in two's so the models can catch and better chance of people collecting full sets. A lot of what Mattel dose makes me scratch my head.
If I don't find this set I am going to start hunting scalpers !
not here F them.
I would really love to find these in store. Nice video
I'm looking forward to picking these up! Also, I think you have a tampo error, but not the one you talked about. It's at 7:32, the rear wheel on this side has no tire lettering, whereas the other side does.
Just got my sealed case in mail yesterday , they are sickkk. Gunna crack a set open for sure
Great castings, all i need is money 😂😂.... Regards 👋👋
Those gasser are extremely dope
These used to hung? That’s surprising. Weren’t they released during the Muscle era of Hot wheels?
Totally bad...
Wow!!!
Great detail & off the chain style. These cars have a lot of character. Thanks for showing.👍
thanks for sharing buddy....big thumbs up!!.....✨🔥 🎆 🎆
Loves that cars 👍
I believe the a in AFX was for altered. As in altered wheelbase.
"The FX stood for Factory Experimental, a class which allowed manufacturers to fit the largest engine available and alter (sometimes drastically) the body of a production vehicle. The letter A simply refers to the engine size; there were also B/FX and C/FX classes."
www.speedhunters.com/2013/03/factory-experimental-on-the-street-afx-falcon/
Hopefully can find this item soon as possible
I found them orignally and bought them

Apik lorr👍👍👍
Too cool to pass up! Pegwarmers does not describe these newest gassers from HW at all!
Altered wheel base is the word u were looking for not scrunched
How did you miss them? Because you were too busy focusing and buying JDM cars (nothing wrong with that!).
*"BARK, BARK"*
Awesome 👍
Great cars I didnt know they exist! front tires are wayyy too wide though
jeep2003 There drag cars, there supposed to have wider tires for more grip.
Wow wow wow 😮
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
yes finally
I want it...
It's Too (|| : roman numeral two) far gone, because the car was commonly referred to as the Chevy || (Chevy Two). Too Far Gone
Have not seen these yet on the shelves, I go to all the Walmart’s early in the morning and so far not a single one even in other neighboring states, scalpers are buying them from the back room!! Now I have to resort to buying them on eBay! Thanks fuckfaces!!!!
where did you get that shelve?
5 Star
Dragstrip Deamons're been underated ?! No they were not !
It's just there was no hype like today there is with HWS collectible lines !
I collect for 10 years now and the only line I like but so few seems to appreciate was the Pro Racing and that one I can say they are underated !
what is your favorite?
Can't top the '55 in general but I love the Coronet.
So Walmart pop culture?????
