Modeling! Parents I’ve seen personally do not behave in ways that they preach to their kids! Parents want their kid to be more present but they themselves are all consumed by their own devices. It’s painful to witness and I’ve left friendships because of it.
Wondering if you have any suggestions. I’m having an issue with “Shorts” on RUclips. Some are innocent, but others are can be super inappropriate. I have no idea how to make it so it isn’t just a bunch of random clips that are completely unrelated to 1 another. Is this possible? Or do I need to tell my kids they aren’t allowed to watch “Shorts” section in RUclips? 1 kid is 8 other is 14.5. I hate telling my kids they “aren’t allowed” to do something cuz I don’t ever want them to feel like they need to hide things from me. I wouldn’t even be upset if they continued after I asked them to stop. I just want to protect them from age inappropriate content😢
