Hi there, just have to chime in! If you find a good quality (higher-end) vintage perfume bottle half-full, please DON'T dump it out! There is a whole sub-culture out here of people who collect vintage perfumes and definitely want the actual perfume! (I am one of them!) Mercari is the marketplace for buying and selling perfume and there are thousands of vintage bottles listed, liquid and all! For selling perfumes the shipping label is automatically shipped with an H designation for Hazardous Liquid per the USPS.
Of course sometimes the perfume has gone bad - but not always. I have a couple of bottles which are decades old and smell beautiful - it depends on how well they were stored. Estate sales are good sources. All the classic perfumes have been reformulated according to newer regulations and most of them smell at least slightly different than they used to, and the original formulas can be highly sought after. (It helps to know what a bad perfume smells like.) This is a bit of niche audience but we are many! :) You'd be surprised - check out the website Fragrantica if you're interested!

Love your content, Kat! I'm curious how many "new" listings you are able to post per day. Solo or on a per employee basis. I struggle to list between 10 and 20 per day myself, and it definitely impacts my profit. Pointers?
The new list perfectly express lister is a game changer you take photos it does the rest. So with that being said I'm currently putting up 30 to 50 new per day. I do all pricing and finalizing and one employee is doing 20 listings in about a hour the other does 20 to 30 throughout the day along with shipping etc

Yes, we do very well with it. I send 3-5 times a day whenever available as soon as I see them. I send 10% off if listed 3 months or less, 30% if listed 3 months to a year and 50% off if listed over a year (But some I only do 30% depending on what I paid)

I have NO CLUE where to even begin with everything I have inherited, but after watching your channel, I know that I have COUNTLESS Collectible items!!!

I would pick 10 items and look them up to see if worth listing and make piles for list donate and yard sale if you wanted to do that. Then once you've got a decent pile worth listing just start. Just make sure to use custom sku when you put away so you can find them when they sell. Maybe do a day researching and a day listing and keep alternating

Hi there, just want to chime in on behalf of the "Fragrance Community" (lol!) - lots of people collect vintage perfumes and/or empty bottles - it's a whole thing. That particular bottle may have been a rare version of Poison - you never know! If you look at the bottles themselves, oftentimes they are like works of art. (Not always though - it depends!) The older classics have a lot of appeal - Guerlain, Chanel, Dior. And many more!

Last week Ebay did an automatic review and raised my account selling limits by nearly 50x to $5,000,000 or 5,000,000 items, you know, whichever comes first. Is this a glitch or does Ebay see future greatness in my mediocre shipped on time numbers?
They did the same for me. I’m just a tiny eBay shop, not sure what metrics they use to determine graduation. 😉

I've made thousands on teacups hence why I love them. Breakables are pretty easy to pack safely with bubble wrap we ship out hundreds a month. The Brewers was MLB :D
