Going to air this week on a current affairs program is the 500,000 children estimated to be addicted to screens. Keep up your great attitude and love your little one all the days of your life.
This should be kept and watched periodically throughout his life bc he’s not going to give you that same adoration a little bit later in life, but remember how much he treasured your attention bc he still will even though it might not seem that he does. Just keep showing him how much you love him. It will make a big difference in how he turns out, or at least, that’s my opinion!
Life was so chaotic when our son was born that it’s hard to ever remember him being that little (he’s now 16) and then we weren’t able to have more kids so everything is one and done. I’m not a baby/little kid person so I’ve really enjoyed more and more as he has gotten older but last night while at a hotel just us two for a baseball tourney I realized just 2 years and we will be packing for college.
Patience during colic is for super heroes, always beg for help from experienced people you trust. Keep biological dad around even if marriage gets tough...give each other breaks, call your doctor often. Prayers because parenting is NOT easy.

No kidding. I was a very young mother. I always thought if I had of waited I think I would of been a much better mother . I know my kids would argue that. I was a single mom and always held 2 job’s sometimes I would work 60 hour weeks .I saved for 3 years and managed to by a house on my own and provided a secure childhood. It was hard. I realize now if I had of waited till later I would not of been able to have them later. I hit menopause at 34. Now I’m a grandmother I promise you my grandson will never be taken for granted. I wasn’t there for my kids when you have to work 60 hour weeks in a trades profession. But now just turned 50. And I’m going to be best grams in Canada 🇨🇦 Eh!
You are fortunate. My father regretted being a father. That regret turned him very mean. Paternal love does not always come. I’m glad this father does love his child.
