Kids are some of the funniest comedians (without knowing or not). Conversations among toddlers are the funniest when they thought adults didn't listen. Also, conversations parent-child are funny.
Two real stories.
One child of my friend did the same joke (the toddler didn't know it was funny - yet). That little boy spelled the name of the consummer brand name (Dinor), but he said and thought D-I-N-O-R meant "OIL" 😂 (~1983 in W. Africa).
One of my bosses told a funny story with his son (~2009 in California). He went to Vons, a grocery store, with his son and the child grabbed a product from their cart and started to laugh and laugh (he might have been around to be 3 years old). The father didn't know his son had started to spell.
The father asked the child, "What is so funny?"
The child said, "Why do they put this on a product?"
The father said, "Wait a minute, can you read?"
The child laughed again and said "B-U-T-T"
Oh! The child thought Butter was made of butt😂
