I love those old school camera angles, the angles the director wants to show us, it feels just like acting in a movie and with these graphics I can say it definitely looks like acting in a movie.
The reason they remake silent 2 first because silent hill 2 and 4 are standalone game. whereas silent hill 1 and 3 are connected. I think they also need to take into account that silent hill 1 have other spinoff when they remake it, such as silent hill shattered memories. If they remake silent hill 1, they should just upgrade the graphic and make everything else remain the same including the fix camera angle as it is contribute to the vibe of the original game and also they should add in a little bit quality of life improvement such as supporting higher resolution, better UI and etc

I saw videos of other people playing 5 & 6 but, this is not the Resident Evil I came to love, 5 & 6 demonstrates everything I cannot stand. You creating this, just to do it, not thinking how profitable it could be, to style something that stays faithful to the original is quite rare these days. It's a rather cool remake tbh. I especially like it's not abusing post processing effects like some other fan remakes. Oh and camera work is also great. Makes me want to see other areas like the school or hospital.

Great work, just pointing out that in order to be faithful to SH lore and symbolism, the corpse should be bandaged and with its head covered. Alessa was bandaged and the corpse is a distorted manifestation of her damaged psyche, so it has no face, it looks burned and bloodied, and its lack of any internal organd is also a factor.

Silent Hill 3 will always be my favorite for the series, but ive always wanted to see Silent Hill 1 redone as I was obsessed with the game when I first discovered it back in 2001! ive never understood peoples obsession with Silent Hill 2 and why its so popular. yeah, it was a good game, but I genuinely feel Silent Hill 1 and 3 were much better in comparison.
No game has had an impact on me like SH1. I didnt even know what it was when i bought way back then. Even the back of the case was pretty vague, but i took a chance on it because of the short description of it. Sucked me right in from the start. What a game.
As much as I kind of enjoy games with actual speaking voices there's something about silent Hill where you just read what's going on and it just makes things a little creepier to me, and I loved that about the original
