1st trip: hey! There’s a spider in my tea! 2nd trip: Take the spider out, drink tea. 3rd trip: Drink tea, eat spider. 4th trip: Hey! Where’s my spider? 5th trip: Catch your own spider, put in tea.
Really enjoying this series of vids. But man you look completely knackered at the end of this one. Looking forward to the next instalment . Hope you don’t start hallucinating from lack of sleep!
I love how you do your blogs....I dont know you other than BVS photographer...but your videos are almost like you are providing a bit of yourself to all of us. No one on RUclips does this so well and so friendly. One day I want to buy you and Greg a beer...know the perfect spot here in Ottawa!! And yes. I think she was the cutest little girl ever. And you captured her so well!
This may be the largest physical challenge of your life! I can’t imagine doing it without training for months, if not years. I’m really enjoying these videos and your photography, thanks so much for your efforts to entertain us while you are feeling like you’re dying! Keep eating those Snickers Bars!
"Those aren't mountains, that's a mountain!" Reminds me of being in central Ecuador and seeing a band of clouds around me shrouding the mountains on either side of the central highlands, and seeing a large white "cloud" protruding above the tops of the other clouds. A few seconds of staring at it left my jaw hanging as I realized that it wasn't a cloud, but the peak of Chimborazo absolutely towering above everything else.
Wow Brendan, followed you forever but don't think I've ever commented before. This video was unbelievable and really captured my imagination. The scenery, the people and just the tale of your journey is riveting. Thanks !! Good luck
Absolutely beautiful scenery. Persevere Brendan, the goal is in sight. I have to guess out of all the adventures you go on, this has to be on the top 4. Its nice to know you are not alone in this either, im sure all the other photographers are feeling the same way you are....I cant wait to see the next episode of your travels.
i hav gone through all of ur vlog n photographs of annapurna circuit ...n dey r jst awesome, loved it...thank u for visiting n showing the actual nepal...appreciated ur brilliant work.u r alwz be warmed welcome here in nepal..visit more lots of love
Tea house roofs are wonderful if a little sketchy! Glad you got a great view of Manaslu from Temang, now I know what I should have been able to see... The granite spires over to the left there can be very atmospheric in the evening light.
I'll be curious to see how many Snickers you will have eaten by the time you reach the highest altitude! These videos have been epic so far! I can't wait for the next episode!
Love this series. Brings back fond memories from when I did the trek back in 2016. I personally died a bit myself when I went up the 'zig zaggy' hill. Mainly since I had forgotten my sunglasses halfway at the water post and had to go back down to grab them....
After seeing these beautiful images, I decided to take this tour as well. In one year from now. Thank you for sharing! btw, are drones allowed in this area or is it the issue of extra weight?
Nice, you'll love it. And, no, drones aren't allowed in the Annapurna area. I believe a permit is about $10,000 too. It's a shame, but the views are great without a drone.
The fact that you know that Mt. Robson is the tallest mountain in the Canadian Rockies makes me proud, a lot of Canadians don't even know that fact. Really thrown off by the blue shorts though hahaha but what great scenery.
The part between Upper Pisang and Manang is indeed challenging but breathtaking. We had vultures above us when we reached the high point, with that spectacular view. A magical memory ! But be careful with yourself, sleep is important in those trips :)
This series is great, Brendan. Thanks for sharing. Kind of feel like I am there. You should be sponsored by SNICKERS and maybe invent a Spider-tea cafe?
@@BrendanvanSon hope you get lucky in the upcoming days. Be safe and have a sweet sleep man. Try your best to sleep, I know it's becoming harder but hope you have a good one tho
Lucky enough to walk the Inca Trail. I've run marathons, 42 miles overnight and a 72 mile "boundary" race. Nothing prepared me for Dead Woman's Pass. Spent most of the night wandering round our tent on some sort of high. Desperate to eat but had no appetite when we stopped for a meal. Freaked me out. Fitness has little to do with altitude. "What makes Dead Woman’s Pass so famous (or infamous) is its altitude. At 4,215m (13,828 ft), it’s the highest (and most dreaded) point of the Inca Trail, and nearly 1,800m (5,905 ft) higher than the altitude of Machu Picchu itself."
What are those wheel drum things you keep spinning with your hand in each village (like right at the end of this video) what does that represent? Cheers! :)
That mountain is Mt Manaslu (The killer moutain) with 8163m high and on the way you will gonna see Mt Dhaulagiri 8167 m and most deadliest mountain Mt Annapurna I (Dealth rate -34%) 8091m high.
I find lightweight walking sticks help me a ton on long hiking trips. Never been sure on the physics of why they do, combination of improved balance, repetitive motion, slight forward push, perhaps.
I hope it was not only Greg's fault for your sleepless nights. Oh and you need a shave 😁 Love your pictures, i think they are way better than your latest ones you have shown (Sorry). Stay safe, BvS and friends.
Wow! Brendan, this series is outstanding, and if I was younger, I'd put it on my bucket list. The photos of the children are exquisite. I hope you can regulate your eating pattern next time you go. You'd be far better off chowing down on a tiny can of tuna and hawk some carrots from your buddy,,, you know all about diabetes, hey? just something to think about... a fan from Alberta///
Hey Brendan, these trips are epic huh!... I have just mentioned you in my latest vlog, I hope you dont mind. It was in reference to TH stealing your 100-400mm lens in Patagonia! Sleep!
Unfortunately The Snow Is Melting Day By Day Of Mountains Of Nepal.. It Is Quite Sad For Us Because Mountains Is The Factor That Attaracts More People In Nepal And Nepal Is Also Recognised As One Of The Best Place For Mountaineers And Trekkers. I Just Want To Say Global Warming Must Be Controlled..

Thanks Billy, it was an amazing experience, and has been fun to re-live on the edit.

Yeah, I probably should have done some excersise in hindsight.
Brendan, This is some of your best work yet. You make me dream, I wish I could do something like that one day!
Love the series, Brendan! The journey is the reward, always.
Glad you're liking the series, man!

Reid D Had literally the same experience right there. It‘s amazing and humbling
More amazing images and scenery from the BVS team. Thanks for sharing.

Ah, shame you didn't see it. It was unreal. It just poked up way up in the clouds. We didn't believe it was a mountain at first.
It's always good to get some sleep but I'm enjoying seeing new discovery and new places
I'll be curious to see how many Snickers you will have eaten by the time you reach the highest altitude! These videos have been epic so far! I can't wait for the next episode!
Impressive landscape, great tunes too
Glad you liked the video!
Champa Porridge is the go-to breakfast while trekking in Nepal. great stuff!
Love this series. Brings back fond memories from when I did the trek back in 2016.
I personally died a bit myself when I went up the 'zig zaggy' hill. Mainly since I had forgotten my sunglasses halfway at the water post and had to go back down to grab them....
Honestly, I would have left them. That hill was murder.
Can't say the thought didn't cross my mind. Looking forward to see the rest of the trip.
" Daal vaat power 24 hours " hahaha...
That was epic hahah
What a place, thanks for sharing....
Thanks for watching, Bill.

Looks awesome! I just got into hiking this year and that long of a hike might be a little too much for me now, but I’d love to do it someday.
You'd be surprised. You could do it. It's more mental than anything.
Fell in love with these videos 😍😍😍 looks so amazing and adventures. I wish I could make it one day 😅😅
I have been there 4 years before. Still the same beauty. thanks for your wonderful video ..visitnepal again

My tour guiding days in Canada coming in handy.
Man that trek has changed since 2001 when I was there. No roads after Beshisahar. Cant wait to see how you go on the Thorung La. Loving the images.
Good stuff! I can relate somewhat. My trip to Peru last year kicked my butt, thin air and poor fitness don't mix well. Rock on!
Yup, altitude is the ultimate equalizer.

That shot 5:43 is fire!
Absolutely brilliant, Brendan.
Thanks for visiting our country brother. Your video is amazing 😉 thumbs up 👍...
Dude this is awesome, love the spirit and atmosphere here. Bro i wanna see some milkyway shots
We tried some milky way stuff later, but the conditions weren't really in our favour. We do try, though.
@@BrendanvanSon hope you get lucky in the upcoming days. Be safe and have a sweet sleep man. Try your best to sleep, I know it's becoming harder but hope you have a good one tho
Epic Vlog Brendan, loving your pain.
It's a beautiful road to Manang.
Lucky enough to walk the Inca Trail. I've run marathons, 42 miles overnight and a 72 mile "boundary" race. Nothing prepared me for Dead Woman's Pass. Yup, I've done that trek a bunch of times. Sometimes I would be fine, other times altitude would hit me. It's the ultimate equalizer, for sure.
Damn those pictures 😍 great work
Lots of love from Nepal ♥️
So glad I found this channel! ❤️
I'm glad you found it too, Timo!
Hello,, Very impressive work. I always enjoy watching your videos.Thank you for sharing. Have a great day.
What are those wheel drum things you keep spinning with your hand in each village (like right at the end of this video) what does that represent? Cheers! :)
They're prayer wheels. According to Buddhists, spinning the wheel is essentially the same as reciting the prayer that's written on it.
@@BrendanvanSon Very interesting, that's cool...thanks for the reply! :)
Hey, Brendan, do you have public music playlists anywhere? Spotify? I always like your tunes.
Looking forward to next episode : ) This makes me want to go to Nepal : )
well! you can make a inquiry any time with me if you want to visit the himalayas
The place where u have lunch ( gyaru) my gramdma also have hotel . I went about 7 year a ago
Thanks for the view. Love from np
love u guys.....thanks for all information
Sounds like the altitude and lack of oxygen is giving you a "high". Lol. :D Great video! Great place, wish I could go there!
You might have seen some cultural dance and stuff in local home stay .. if not please visit there
Nepal❤️🇳🇵🇳🇵
Nepal Dude-bros...crushing in dude.
Name of the song at 5:44 plz?
Wow that looks tough, hard enough without the vlog camera
I don't think even Snickers could save me. 🐼🤣
Brendan, you live dangerously... Please, calm down and SLEEP! Would like to be there, but that trek is too much tough for me. Take care!
Amazing
Hello, what's your bag ? It's ok for 10 days trekking ?
Man, that's a lot of rock stacked up.
Your video is really ❤️❤️❤️ love nepal

That death rate on Annapurna I is just crazy.
When you enter the cities, you’re running hands along round metal cylinders that turn. Those must have some significance, what are they?
They’re called prayer wheels. If you google that there’s loads you can read about them.
Thankyou!
Thanks for visit our country guy's 😊❤❤
Enjoy mate.....
Some amazing photos in this vid. Must be thanks to the tunes you were listening too ... or the lack of oxygen 😜
Awesome effort......😊👍🏻
Wow
Nepal 🇳🇵🇳🇵
Wow.
Broke back mountain?
So how much NPR in cash should one have for this trip? I guess a lot, I was looking at the exchange rates on google
I cost about NPR 175000

Should be in the mail in the next couple days. They all shipped on Wednesday. Email me if somehow it doesn't make it. Thanks for the support!
