I actually have a gorgeous purple wool coat, that I love, and a black and white houndstooth wool coat that my MIL gave to me. I was looking for a way to combine them. The coat you showed at the very end got me really excited! Thanks for the inspiration.

I just found your channel and I love you and everything you do so much. I’m waiting for my grandmother’s sewing machine to be fixed right now but I should have it next week! Sewing is in my blood, my grandmothers and great grandmother were all seamstresses and my grandfather even made slipcovers for a living! The tip about using thrifted sweatshirt cuffs and bottom elastic alone was mind-blowing. I love your style and your pacing, you have a follower for life! Have an awesome day!!

How did you sew the two sweaters together OMG this is such a trendy beautiful style!
What was the tension on your sewing machine? Did you knit it together with yarn?
I sewed it on the sewing machine first being careful not to stretch while sewing. Then I used yarn with a needle just to cover the seam to make the whole piece look unified.
