The thing is…people who buy a cheap table want a table. People who buy an expensive table want a statement. You cannot compete with mass produced tables from factories that own a forest. But factories cannot compete with you for a custom job that the owner can make a statement with. You are nimble, that’s your edge.
The customer buying a $600 table will probably never spend $2500, or more, on a table. So they are not your customer. Build to your customer and let the other guys build to their customers. Stop trying to compete with someone who is racing to the cheapest sell.
How about pricing? One thing is making table like a lot of people do, but another thing when you make something unique like no one else does and spending a lot of time on design and developing the product.
You’ve just gotta make sure that the thing that you’re spending a lot of time on actually matters to the customer. I see a lot of people doing dovetail joints and detailed intricate things that the customer honestly doesn’t value of even understand and it’s a waste of time
Why sell a course if youre so good at selling tables? If it were me, I’d work on the thing that sets me apart, not the thing that’s associated with scammers and grifters. Unless of course, you aren’t that good at selling tables but you are good at selling online courses that promise easy money to small business owners.
I was so good at selling tables that the business was profitable enough to sell it for multiple 6 figures. And I like helping people. 🤷🏼♂️ So what do you do other than talk crap on RUclips comments? 🤣

It's true. Tables take longer to build and sell, but the profit margin is SO much bigger.
