    Awesome job, my brother! I’ve been using dirty down rust for over a year and love it. Don’t forget, dirty down also makes verdigris and moss paint. -Rick, USMC

    A hole saw in an electric drill on low speed would have saved you a ton of time cutting out the bottom of the bottle. Also some ratio of greenput(millistuff?) favoring the milliput over the greenstuff might have made it easier to get closer to the textures you wanted for the flesh. That said this looks really good, and I could easily see using just the central tower as an admech dominus or chaos sorcerer or warpsmith proxy for a darkmechanicus army depending on if you wanted to run them as admech or standard chaos... or as a messed up warboss or bigmech if you wanted to do super mutants as Orks.

      I invested in a dremel shortly after this video which has saved me so much time when doing similar stuff - painful watching myself do it with a knife in this video 😄 and great tip with the green stuff/milliput mixture, I’ve been using that for a little while now too and it would’ve definitely been preferable in this build, lessons learned if I ever do something similar, thanks for watching dude!

    They're called miniguns as they're a mini version of rotary cannons which fire much larger rounds like 20mm, 25mm and so on, they're actually gatling guns but the name mini gun stuck as the M134 gatling gun is a miniature version of the larger guns used on aircraft, ships and some armoured vehicles.
    But love how this diorama turned out looks awesome for something so compact

    I love how you include your whole thought process and all your little errors along the way so we can learn from them!! I will admit I’ve done the same thing with hot glue and plastic 😅😅

      Thank you glad you like it! Nothing I make every fully goes to plan so it’s part of the process for me, and it’s an easy mistake to make hahaha, at least we know better for next time, thanks for watching!

      Thanks Bo hope you’re good my friend. Yeah it’s super versatile, a little while ago I used it to repair some pipes on my sink, and now most recently to make a little fleshy string cheese looking irradiated weirdo in this video haha

    Some gloss varnish or uv resin on those screens, and it would look epic tbh.

    Looks really great! Out of curiosity, where did you get the majority of your sci-fi greebles?

    • @SwampRatMiniatures
      @SwampRatMiniatures  Год назад +1

      Thanks buddy! I got a bunch a while ago from a company called Zinge (think they only operate in the UK) who print little greebles like this, but the computer screens etc I got out of a larger sci fi scenery set by terrain crate I believe (not sure if I’d recommend really as the quality was a bit hit and miss). I’ll usually just buy larger scenery sets with the view of chopping up all the smaller details, hope that helps!
