Wish I started here first- lol I’m a 7w6 (6w7 is close too). But I like to reflect on Times I’ve leaned on that 8 wing- didn’t realize I was coming off as superior but in hindsight that seems like it could be true.
I am a 3w4 and can totally see how my 4 wing plays into my dominate type. My 4 wing helps me to strive for authenticity of self and to desire a deeper connection with others. I also tend to be really creative, that creativity funnels into my career minded nature to help bring color to otherwise boring things lol. I also lean into my 2 wing often by wanting to help serve others. I find myself using my administrative and creative skills to help others with their unique needs.

Hey Abbey, have you ever heard of balanced wings? It's when someone have both wings balanced, so you can identify strongly with both. I believe I have this, since I can see both strongly in myself and when I took the enneagram test, I got really similar scores in both wings. I actually like it, so I see myself as a Romantic Bohemian Aristocrat.

Abbey Howe I like the Christian aspect, grace, God’s unconditional love but sometimes I pick up the vibe that her core audience is female so therefore it has a more feminine edge ( and there is nothing wrong with a feminine edge ). But as a man, I kind of prefer a view point from a male Christian perspective i.e how can I be the creative man God wants me to be.
I am a 5w6, sometimes I access my w4, but I mostly lean towards my w6. Also an INTP, with ADHD. So, yes, I so identify with both personality types, I'm curious by nature, and tend to use that curiosity to investigate when I need to solve something. Always learning, always trying to get creative and to do new things with what I like or learn. I feel like a burden sometimes, and that I'm hard to understand. But I love my logic-creative brain, I have lots of fun learning. If I only got paid for learning, that could be my dream job hahaha 😂

7w8. 7 because I am not a focused person, I mean I've stopped videos to start others before, staying still is very difficult because I like to move around or travel or do something. I enjoy making constant jokes, and can make a joke out of every moment to bring laughter. 8: Sometimes those moments are moments where I shouldn't make jokes. I noticed that I tend to rebel more than most because I see many moments in life as a power dynamic. I don't like it when others are bullied, and because of this I got into many fights with bullies whom would try to bother a friend of mine. Once people get on my nerves, I never miss a chance to upset them or bother them.

Good video! Im ISTP 4w5, 6w5, 9 (I grew my 8 wing so I think they’re more balanced now). As a child I was self pres, but I eventually grew tired of being afraid and became counter phobic, and my sexual instinct became hyperactive, which led me into trauma bonding relationships. Now that I’m healthier, I think my self pres and sexual instincts are more balanced. It’s the social instinct that I have the most difficult time with. It’s difficult connecting with others on a superficial level, I get easily bored and start to feel lonely around them. I don’t know how to fix that; maybe it doesn’t need to be fixed. I have inner peace now the way my life is. But I’m open to hearing any tips if anybody has any.
Is it normal to resonate with 5w4 and 9w8 ? As in having a little bit of both ? But I do think that I lean more on 5w4 , not sure about the left/right brain part but I can say that I like science and art . Now , the 9w8 part , I do what I like majority of the time and I do try to solve difficult situations with a peaceful outcome where both sides get what they want/need . If you say I'm a great leader , I think not but if I have to , I will try .

Hopefully not to complicate things, but you may have both 1 & 5 in your tritype. Also, there is a connecting line between 9 & 6 in regards to health/stress that you may find applicable.

An healthy 5 will tend to go too the 8. You can see the wings as who you are and then there is what we calls the arrow and it's the type that you should try to takes all of the good side of for your own personal growth

Abbey Howe I think I kinda worded it wrong it’s more like I can’t balance my head and heart so since I have a really strong 4 wing I feel a lot of intense emotions which gets too much for my dominant type five brain. I start to intellectualize those emotions and get irritated when they don’t make sense or are simply illogical. Then I have this fear that because of these strong emotions I might lose touch with the logical side of me and act irrationally. Also because of my four wing I can be kind of sensitive at towards criticism and what other people think about me which further frustrates my five brain. As a five I also am a very private person but because of my four wing I tend to want to emotionally connect with people by expressing my feelings. That once again makes my five self very uncomfortable.

Strange thing when I took the test, I basically have two Enneagrams,(5 and 8), I got 58% on both and that was my highest percentage! Please explain?

are you able to answer my question? because i got type 5 but then my wing 4 and 6 are both 76%. And ignoring my wings, 5 and 8 were my highest so do i completely set 8 aside or does it mean anything?
An healthy 5 will tend to go too the 8. You can see the wings as who you are and then there is what we calls the arrow and it's the type that you should try to takes all of the good side of for your own personal growth

Abbey Howe I think I kinda worded it wrong it’s more like I can’t balance my head and heart so since I have a really strong 4 wing I feel a lot of intense emotions which gets too much for my dominant type five brain. I start to intellectualize those emotions and get irritated when they don’t make sense or are simply illogical. Then I have this fear that because of these strong emotions I might lose touch with the logical side of me and act irrationally. Also because of my four wing I can be kind of sensitive at towards criticism and what other people think about me which further frustrates my five brain. As a five I also am a very private person but because of my four wing I tend to want to emotionally connect with people by expressing my feelings. That once again makes my five self very uncomfortable.
