I pitied Hyuk so much in the end. He led a miserable twisted life because of his mother, and so I only discovered true love when he decided to sacrifice and die. The cast was amazing, and gosh Sung Rok is so charismatic!
im here again watching clips from this amazing kdrama the last empress.. im crying again because of the ill fated love story of lee hyuk and oh sunny.. i wanted them to end up together and be happy❤️
El hombre que más me ha echo llorar ,toda su vida fue un desastre 😭😭😭no sabía lo que era el amor ,la mujer que estaba a su lado lo manipuló Cuando quiso ser feliz era demasiado tarde ....demasiado tarde ...todos sus actos estaban mal ....la primera vez que ví el drama no deje de llorar por al menos dos horas y no había nadie que pudiera calmar mis sentimientos, debí parecer una loca delante de mi familia 🥺🤧

I think that the drama did not explore the backstories of how the Empress Dowager Kang turned out to be so psychopathic and his former Emperor father so abusive.

Primer dorama que veo, en la cual el villano y a la vez rol secundario, se torna en el protagonista principal de la trama. Me encanto las luchas de poder y la guerra de sexos que se generaba en este matrimonio de la realeza....y lo que mas me sorprendio fue la tremenda quimica que ambos emanaban y me hacian creer en todas las emociones que proyectaban al espectador como : odio, celos, miedo, ambicion, amor, ternura, redencion, y perdon. Una historia entretenida de principio a fin....aunque me hubiese gustado otro final para Na Wan Shik...donde por fin podria encontrar la paz que tanto necesitaba.
Choi Jin Hyuk had other commitments and could not finish the drama. Unfortunately. I loved a lot Na Wang Sik but the chemistry between Lee Hyuk and Sunny was amazing. I loved this couple

Kevin Jang I agree. Throughout the story I didn’t think of him as evil. I thought he was the most pitiful character with the saddest backstory.
