Man, I cannot express with words just how much I adore your content man, and appreciate your mission. The genuine care and respect you posess for all of these animals, is just so inspiring. Hopefully your content is inspiring more people to take better care when possible, of these lil guys. They dont have voices of their own, and too oft nowadays, we get too caught up in all the political/socieital bs, and wind up neglecting the other 99% of life on this planet!

Yes to all of it! So many beautiful animals and people saying “oh they don’t know or feel anything” just so they can make money killing them off for land, hunting them etc. I love and respect them all. I don’t have kids and when I die my moneys going to places just like Bens. I have to give back to the animals who have given me so much joy in life.
There's nothing wrong with hunting. As long as it isn't done for sport or trophies.
We are omnivores after all. So we do eat meat and veggies for a balanced healthy diet.
But that aside. I do agree with you on how animals do feel and understand. It may not be to the level of humans. But anyone with a soul can tell they have at least a basic emotional understanding. If they didn't. There is no way we could coexist.
And he's always just so positive and a great attitude!

Ok, I know the axolotls are still small, and the river stones are large, but I have a story about a frog.
When I ran a reptile shop I wanted to make a bank area for our budgets frogs enclosure so I used river rocks. Granted, they were smaller than the axolotls rocks. Anyway, we noticed him moving the rocks with his mouth. Danger. He swallowed 2 of them. No blockage, we took him to the vet, he even passed one of them.
But amphibians are very optimistic of what they can fit in their mouths. I really hope the axolotls don't monch the rocks eventually.
Would like to see the big ounce “ almost forgot to tell ya” every once in a while.

The Brevard Zoo took in an injured crested caracara that was in pretty rough shape but it seems to be doing well now. Hopefully that one has a similar success story.

I really love your little ranch even though an ocean separates us. It's only normal that not every animal in your care is going to make it due to illness or old age and you should be able to talk about it. It's a fact of life that children in the audience should understand (if it's children you're worried about). I can't wait to see the little kangaroo joey.
Ben, I remember you saying you were going to lay a pallet floor in one of those metal buildings, before you do I would recommend laying a layer of drainage rock, this will keep those. Pallets above the ground and able to stay dry and you wouldn’t have to replace them in 3 months when they would rot away

Some fun facts about owls:
Owls' Eyes Are Actually Tubes. They are held in place by bony structures in the skull called Sclerotic rings. For this reason, an Owl cannot "roll" or move its eyes - that is, it can only look straight ahead!

After Homelander does eventually tear up that screen window, they sell rolls of pet proof screen that is pretty much indestructible at HD. I swear by the stuff, my cats have been climbing it for over 10 years now and have yet to tear it up. BTW when it comes to milking.... it's like squeezing the last of the toothpaste out of the tube. You have to pinch off the base of the nip then pull down to push out the milk
