    Keep in mind that this bike is the worlds most comfortable supersports bike on planet earth and is really great for tall people who are 6'2" to 6'4" tall(excellent ergonomics for tall riders). I know lots of middle aged guys(I'm talkin about guys in their 50's and 60's) who ride these bikes on touring ! ) that go touring on these bikes.

      I hear some folk tour on this thing. It is very comfortable for a super sport but still can't imagine touring on it lol

      @@TwoWheeledMenace As long as you have a strong lower lumbar(no matter your age) apparently it is done by guys in their 60's and even 70's !! Going to the gym, for strength training, 3 times a week, would be beneficially if you ride any type of motorcycle; especially sports motorcycles. My uncle has a hayabusa(2nd generation) and he's 72 years old, so there's really no excuses unless your lower back have issues...

      get an s/m1000r instead - better low-mid range power and torque and a comfier seating position.

      @@J0J0McM0M0 Yeah I agree. I like the m1000R competition package :) but I still can't have anything negative to say about guys in their 60's who are touring on the s1000RR. Apparently that bike was made for some kind of touring if it has cruise control on it..haha😁

      When you are running low on gas does it block the whole screen or can you get rid of it or minimize it somehow?

    The rear is the exact same as the 23 and all of the 23 models came with winglets too. The only thing that has changed is the sos emergency button.

  • @NeedToBike
    @NeedToBike 5 месяцев назад +4

    Hey man I have the 2023 S1000RR EU model and I have that SOS button too. The wings are also standard on all 23’ bikes.

    I traded in my Ducati V4 for the 2023 BMW. What a huge difference, especially with exhaust and engine tune. Ducatis are just 'fast' and that is really it. Ducati is stuck in their old ways, race race race. 99% of buyers are not aspiring MotoGP wannabes. The BMW just does it all so well. And just as fast as any Ducati. Get your bike tuned! You will be in for a surprise with the s1000rr. It is stupid fast!

    The only thing that has changed on the 24 was that stupid sos button. Hope no one pushes it on you when you're not around the bike.

      @TwoWheeledMenace I had a 23 that was totaled in October and in November bought another 23. I don't like the idea of a sos button.

      You can sign a paper and it’s disabled. Otherwise… it’s a paid for service they start charging you for.

    if you go down you dont need to do anything the sos thing will call automatically. what you want to do is if you just dropped your bike and nothing actually happened is that you press the button and hold it to cancel the sos call otherwise the call will go through.

    Hey, nice s1k! How come you replaced the tall stock screen with the tall puig one?

    • @TwoWheeledMenace
      @TwoWheeledMenace  5 месяцев назад +1

      The Puig passes wind around the shoulders better, worth the money if you get the z racer screen I noticed a huge difference with wind not hitting my shoulders at highway speeds.

    • @EscapePlan97
      @EscapePlan97 2 месяца назад +1

      @@TwoWheeledMenacegotcha. I got myself the tallest one puig offers. It’s pretty effective when I’m ducking down. Riding upright I still don’t really notice a difference in terms of wind noise compared to the stock tall screen. I guess since I’m 6’2”, I won’t find anything that keeps my helmet completely quiet.

    I just don't trust BMW right now. Nasty mid-range dip. ECU flash violates BMW's warranty...I just don't need that shit.

    • @TwoWheeledMenace
      @TwoWheeledMenace  10 минут назад

      Look into that again, as far as the forums are concerned, Brent Tune won't void the warranty; you can always flash back to original if you need too

      I would just take it into the dealer and have them fix it I don't even know if you can buy those buttons aftermarket I've never looked and these bikes are pretty new and parts are hard to get you can only get them through dealers as far as I know

      Are you getting an error or its just not connecting? Make sure when you app is on and you go to nav you dont lock your phone screen; and make sure you have the bluetooth icon on your dash showing your phone is linked

      Good luck with repair bills. Aprilia uses proprietary tools so no aftermarket shop will touch the engines. 14,000 mile service is $2k+
