Great Channel Swat. We have a red 96 Country we are restoring. Yours is so mint. I can't help to notice the Virginia plates. We are in Richmond and trying to connect with fellow XJ'rs
@@swatscorner Not to be a weirdo internet guy but I would love to meet and talk jeeps. I'm a Toyota guy and trying to learn so much so fast. But it's hard!!
@@swatscorner. Hey man. That's great! If you're interested in talking Xj's, I'm trying to learn as much as I can. I'm good with turning wrenches but Jeeps are new to me. I'd be happy to help you with any projects - Zach.
Also, I don’t have fogs installed, would it make sense for me to do the harness upgrade then install new fog lights since the new harness has wiring for fog lights? I’ll have to get fog lights AND the switch panel from a picknpull, but would that be my best order of operations?
The upgrade works with your existing harness. It’s not a replacement. You still need the old harness to connect to the switch and to the turn signals and marker lights etc. So you have to have both

Hey, great to meet you! I’m in Richmond, too. I sold the red one, sadly. But still have the blue 96 Country and the black 99 Limited.

Install the new oem fog light harness and then install the cable upgrade.
Do you need to keep the old harness/plug old harness into new harness? Why not just out with the old, in with the new?
