On todays video I review the Carpuride 7" Wireless touchscreen car stereo. This unit will work in any car since it has 3 different outputs and will work with any phone that has bluetooth. The carpuride also has usb/tf memory card slot to play music or movies. IF you want to mirror your phone, well you can do that as well with out a cable.

When you said “hey siri” all 4 of my HomePods went nuts in my house lol.
Ok
This was the most informative video on these things that I saw.
I LOVE THIS UNIT!! I didnt use that mount. What i did was i had enough space to just double sided 3m tape it to the area that covers up my old existing broken display. It looks discreet like its a part of the car stereo. Dont have to worry about anyone stealing it.
this is exactly what I plan to do! just fasten it to the old display which doesnt work lol
LOL!! You left the “Hey Siri” in the audio, I was watching on my Apple TV and it moved on to next video in the list which was @PoleBarnGarage. For a minute I thought that you two had done a collaboration video! 😂😂
Love the videos. Keep up the good work!
Nice system. Looking forward to the one for the golf cart. ✌🏻
Very nice unit. I may add it to the golf cart to give it an updated look. And since it has an easily removable mount you can take it off at night or when you don’t want it getting stolen.
Great. Video that would be great for long trip .. my 2008 Silverado has at least aux
Nice truck how much you want for it I been looking for the particular color silver birch let me know thanks
Very easy to follow you.
Decent video. Thank you.
I have one of these , different brand . I have searched endlessly for a fix for the one problem I have and am hoping you could perhaps identify what may be causing it. I can hear the caller just fine on incoming calls and outgoing calls through my car speakers but they can’t hear me at all. I have a iPhone. Everything else works great except this. I have the CarPlay head unit wired to my auxiliary port. And of course powered to cigarette port. I have Bluetooth on and my data on. Is there a setting on my phone causing this? Idk I’ve tried it all and nothing fixes it. Any feedback is greatly appreciated 😂
Hi! I have a 2011 Infiniti m56. It doesn’t have aux, only Bluetooth. If I connect my iphone to this wirelessly, then can I connect the device to my car’s Bluetooth to use the car’s speakers?
Does Pandora app show up on the monitor?
I wonder how hard it’d be to hook it up to a golf cart. 12v power and an ecoxgear sound bar as the output
I have a similar unit in my Kia. The best way to get the sound is to only do CarPlay on the unit and let the iPhone Bluetooth stream the audio to the car stereo directly, that way I get the best sound and my steering wheel controls work. To get it to work you can select the output from the iPhone the first time and it has worked with no issues since
Wish there was a video showing how to set that up
do you think the suction mount would stay there on the dash like that? i have the same truck and that is the only reason i havent ordered yet because i would want to mount it how you have it but afraid it wouldnt stick.
Still to this day the suction mount has loosened up, even in this south carolina sun and humidity.
I like it, minus having a big screen blocking the window. 😂
can I ask you a dumb question? I just got one yesterday ~ I am going to power it with the cigarette lighter ~ can I also attach my phone via usb on the back of the device, to charge the phone? Im asking bc I dont have a usb port in my older civic, so I was previously using a 12 v plug for charging ~ but now that I have the carplay plugged into the cigarette lighter, I lose the charger
also, which do you think has better sound, playing it through the FM transmitter or using the included aux cable?
thanks!
You should be able to power it on with the usb and the aux has the best sound!
Ty!!
Question? could i hook up my external hd to it? or is it not strong enough for that playback? i was thinking of getting one of these if that was possible so that i wouldn't have to buy a whole new dash radio and save some $$
It has a usb & micro sd input. if your external hdd needs power support as well you might would need to run that to a lighter socket as well. I havent tried a hdd but thumbdrive works good.
Does the fm transmitter work without the aux cord? Or does it need to be connected to the aux?
works without. Set your radio station on the vehicle to one that doesnt have anything on it. Set it on the carpuride and let it transmit. Remove the aux cable. However the aux cable is the best sound though.
I have two question my first question ? does it has Wi-Fi capability? next can I have satellite radio on it? without connecting to my phone
I bought the W901 a few weeks ago. It is a good solution. The screen could be better but for 240 I really can’t complain that much. Biggest thing I wish they would do is remove the internal speaker and put an accelerometer in so you could put the screw in portrait mode.
How long did take it for you to get it? Just curious. I order one from there website a few days ago and it is being shipped from China 🤔
@@tio_cristiano7554I just did that as well how long did it take for urs
is there a delay? I prefer wired method because delay is not good for me. I had to return the one with the camera. I want to try without the dash cam
Mine doesn’t have a dash cam. I wired mine to the aux input on the radio.
is there any feed back noise over aux? also do phone calls come over aux?
Yes phone and audio over aux, no noise over aux.
@Fentertainment I tried another unit and got crazy feedback noise over the aux connection so this is very helpful! Thank you for a review that actually goes over everything. When you make phone calls does the phone call project over the speakers or does it come out of the device speaker
Can somebody answer me this lol
Does the radio need to work for me to get this ?
Question. Can you connect a Bluetooth speaker instead of going through your awful fm transmitter car stereo?
The fm transmitter is just one of 2 ways you can connect. It also has aux output. However on this model is doesnt support bluetooth output.
For the price you could just buy an aftermarket unit that has CarPlay built in.
Would this work in a golf cart?
It would. However, this one is not waterproof. I hope to have the motorcycle unit to work on a golf cart. I hope to have some extra tricks with that one.
Is it not blocking your view?
Not at all. I can see over it or around it. I'm sure someone could mount it lower on the dash somewhere to their liking but It doesnt get in the way for my set up.
Does it automatically turn on and off when turning the key on and off?
@@Khadjs1804 If your 1cigarette lighter plug in your vehicle turns on and off with the key then it will. If not it will stay on or you can pull the plug when you get out. My truck has 2 plugs. One stays on constant and one is only on when the radio is on. Thats the one I used. They are running a special this month. Did you see the coupon code pinned to the top comment of the video?
this is an old dude yelling at his phone to tell his car to play royalty free music i went to thumbs down but i must have in another life already
@@jtwp1770 Thank you. Much Appreciated. I am an old dude.
You're supposed to be concentrating on driving, not fucking round with this crap , no wonder people die on the roads
Is it APPLE or ANDROID OS?
Works with both
It's Linux based. So that means no adding apps or customizing leaving you forced to use their crappy mirroring from your own phone.
Crap-uride should be the name. Over-priced for what it is & it's lack of features, bottom of the barrel hardware, bad Linux software & abysmal customer service. You're better off rooting an Android based tablet if you want something portable that would rival upper level in-dash head units
