Love watching your content. Full of great info. What do you use for your slip solution? Sometimes I find the film wanting to stick to the car quicker than I need it to. I watch your videos and it seems to move freely well into the process
Eric, great video as usual. I’m actually doing the same hood this weekend, do you think tack solution will be needed in the valleys if I use a 60” roll? Or should I use it for insurance. I’ve done one before and I had problems with moisture pockets near those areas. Thanks again your vids have taken me a long way since my training.
As always, nice work. Curious, any degradation from the stretching of the XPEL, even over time? Also, I am guessing the car gets a full detail and clay bar first (you just do not show that part), or?
Awesome video….I’m probably the only girl that has left a comment possibly….I have watched you before at work so I’m not able to comment, but at home I can….I’m an installer in BC, I wanted to watch how you did this because I’ll be doing a GMC 3500 Sierra Denali tomorrow and I’m very nervous, I’ve done a Chevy Silverado High Country A few months ago and that Hood was challenging….but my workplace always tests my limits and somehow I manage to get it done….I just wanted to see your approach was on this hood
Amanda, thank you for the kind words! The GMC Sierra hood will be easier if you disassemble the hood scoop and upper grill from the truck. Trust me. I’ve also done a video on doing a GMC Sierra 3500 hood on the channel. It’s called Difficult Hood Wrap and was posted about 6 months ago. In that video you’ll see how I’d tackle that hood. Plus if you’ve done a Silverado hood already, you’ll do just fine.
Best vids for ppf in youtube!!! Thanks for that. Greetings from Bulgaria my friend.
I appreciate the kind words!
Big car. Don’t envy you dude.
Sick video thanks for the help. What's in your slip and tac solution?
Thanks! Link in description!
I love your videos Eric. You slayed that Yukon with the 48" roll! I thoroughly enjoy all of your vids so don't stop!
Thanks for the kind words. Much appreciated! I got some really good ones coming in the next few weeks!

Thank you! I use Johnson’s baby shampoo for my slip solution. Works well!

Thanks for the kind words. I would definitely use some tack solution if you’re using a 60” roll.
@@DriveProtected than you much

Yeah man. Vehicle gets full wash and the areas that get film all get clay barred prior to PPF install

What’s this cost to have done on a 21 f150 full front ppf?
Depending where you’re located $1500-$2500
what can be done with an impossible big panel.. like the hood on a toyota mk5?
Id go with a 72" wide roll for a hood of that size!
@@DriveProtected ok..thanks 🙂
