From the first time I saw it, I knit all the hats, rucksacks and dresses because I wanted to knit them all the time! Thanks to your kind English, I was able to knit too! Just finished my first one and it fit perfectly! It’s so adorable and the little one is so happy. These projects are a perfect way to make use of your scraps. I used some left over Mandala yarn I had and I found it worked best with a 3.25 hook. Thanks for the pattern! On to the hat and bag next. :)

This is way too big
I used cotton thread and an e hook. Checked after first 5 rows. What did I do?

You can try using finer yarn or thread and smaller hook, or try to crochet more tightly.

Thank you, Pari! Sorry to hear the dress didn't fit Barbie. I guess everybody has different crochet tension. I would recommend using different size of hook to help regulate the dimensions.

The dress was lovely. But somehow it did not fit my Barbie. Maybe the wool did not have much elasticity. It did fit a baby doll.

Hi, I checked my written pattern and it missed the part where you need to dc 1 IN EACH NEXT 2 sc (not just 1 sc) and increase in third sc. That way you will have 34 dc on first round of skirt. Thank you so much for catching this! I hope the dress comes out pretty with this adjustment.
