I remember in my early days how a more senior colleague was teaching us how being smart means that you know how much you dont know and it doesnt mean that you know a lot... took me a while (much longer I'd like to admit) to realize what he was saying...
Spot on. Then of course the 80s come with some people not knowing anything anymore without knowing it. And of course the prelude is the teenage time when you know Everything Better, especially better than your parents.
Reminds me of a Mark Twain quote "When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.”
This is not at all my experience. At 15 I thought I was convinced I knew everything even though it was obvious I didn't. At 20's I knew there was a lot of things I didn't know, but that lot of things was such a small part compared to the confidence on things I thought I knew as if they were literally everything. Closing in on 30's I knew I didn't know a lot of things, but I also knew a lot of things. After 30 I was proud of knowing a lot of things but knowing even in those things I didn't know about a lot of things. So I was very confident, sometimes unjustifiedly, on things I knew or thought I knew, but also recognising how in almost everything there was a lot I didn't know. I hope I'll be happy in the 40's that I have a job, because in my 30's I still struggle to get one and there's seemingly nothing wrong with me, other than that I didn't get hired when I was in my early 20's.
How is it that I seem to embody everything 40 and up at the age of 21? Half of what I know is wrong, and the other half has been completely forgotten, so I just make things up as a coping mechanism.
F'ing AWESOME, 10 times a better comedian than Jimmy Carr or Billy Connelly etc. We need some good AI jokes right about now tho. I'm 61 and I still know everything, but it's a different "everything" than what I knew last decade and I wave my fist at the young people because that's what angry old people do.
And Joe Biden since he was 30. After all, his uncle was eaten by cannibals. And he grew up as a black Mexican. And also Kamala Harris at age 59. She’s making shit up too. Wish we had a better choice between a Kamala the Kommunist and Trump the narcissist. But many Americans are stupid, so that’s what we get. We’ve had miserable choices for the Oval Office since Bush 1 and dare I say Bill (not Hillary) Clinton.
"Thank god i'm in management" 😂😂😂

But you eventually did. Many people don't get there.
As an engineer in my mid 50's, I can confirm that this informational video is 100% accurate.

"you'll find out"😂 🍻

Makes me wonder how my 40s will be 😅

Some of us are overachievers. We start making stuff up in our 60s . . .
I got a concussion when I was 68, everything after that was made up or make believe. I’m 70 pushing 71 now. 💂♂️🪖⛑️🏴🇨🇦
😂
Man I wish I was a manager…
Some people don't wait till their 70s to just start making shit up.
🙋♀️💖
Good description of Donald Trump in his 70ies

You’re hating on Donald Trump while Joe Biden doesn’t know the city he’s in half the time, and Kamala dumps words into a blender. You’re pathetic.
You are a Democrat lover for sure - the party which, along with supporters like you, make stuff up at all ages!
No one thinks they know everything. Stop saying that.
LOL!
Can you prove that "no one thinks they know everything"?
Uno Reverse Draw 4
Now you are just making stuff up
No matter how dumb you think the dumbest person on Earth is, there will always be dumber one.
@@kevincaruthers5412 Can you prove that anyone does?
@@MarshallTheArtist :D I asked you first!
