Do you add the timing limit after you tune the main spark map on the dyno?

My car registers 5 knock count at idle?!? Why? Noise? My cylinder 3 has the most knock counts. I swapped the sparks plugs and still cylinder 3 has the higher knock counts compared to the their cylinders.

I'm getting insane amounts of knock counts about 60 per 3rd gear pull to redline and it's mainly cylinders 1,2 and 3. Cylinder 4 seems to be getting actual knocks

If i drive my RSX for 30 mins i see 9 or so knocks reported on my ktuner ecu, is that ok or safe? I notice the knock appear when i lug the engine in too high of a gear example 4th gear at 20 mph. Also my knock sensor broke and it's disabled, I thought that would stop it from reporting knock to begin with. The car is tuned by a prominent tuner here in South FL.

Wondering the same i put my Si in 4th gear and lug it alittle bit shows small knocks nothing crazy.

If the knock sensor is broken and disabled its impossible for it to register knock. That is a software issue that should be addressed by the software developer. Hondata does not have that problem if the knock sensor is disabled.

The only problem is ktuner doesn't give a shit about the older generations anymore. Really makes me mad and wish I would of bought hondata

You'll get knock counts. What you don't want is consistent knocks back to back.

A bit slow here, hope someone can clarify.
    MBT + KIL - (K.Control * K.Retard)
    21 + 60 - (0.55 * 10)
    81 - 5.5
    = 75.5° ignition timing?
    That doesn't seem right.
