This song and the opening make X7 look really awesome. I recently replayed this game to see if it's really as bad as people say it is. It's not as good as the other games in the X series, but it's not entirely shit either. I thought it was pretty mediocre of a game actually.
I thought it was fun but the US version with it's *unique* voice acting, translation and the idiotic decision to revamp all damage values and make the game far more tedious was outright mean
Capcom seriously should have done what they did with X6 and kept the voice acting, etc from the Japanese version and only translate text. I think it would've made the game better in the long run.
You could switch the voices to Japanese in the options although it only works for the cutscenes and not the actual in-game voices. I did this with the American version of the game, which was my first Megaman game.

Isn't this a bit of a spoiler opening, because then we now know ALL THE KEY EVENTS IN THE ACTUAL GAME!! Thanks to that, we now know that Red will die at somepoint, Axl will somehow copy his body and defeat Sigma with it, and what the eight Mavericks look like!
Yeah this theme is pretty fucking awesome, but I never got to hear it in-game because I could never get past the Red boss battle, and the ONE time I actually beat him, the power went out. Oh, the trauma. :'(

Let's all pour one out for the loss of this track in the Legacy Collection. The faster loading times are nice considering how many of them there are, but it's a shame to see all the image songs go all the same.
I actually liked X7... - *getting 70% of gamers' hate in 3, 2, 1...* - It's not AS good as the other games, though. The jump from 2D to 3D was not 100% succesful, that's all. (In my opinion)

Usually A Megaman Game takes me 2-4 weeks to finish but when i got Megaman X7 i beat it in 3 days making the 3d is cool i just hated the camera cause i always got confused that l1 and r1 were the weapons but its the camera

I'd say the music's probably the weakest of the series, though there are a select few tracks I genuinely enjoy.
